Kids in restaurants can be tricky, especially in the busy school holiday period. High chairs? Entertainment? Kid-friendly food? Help!

Don't stress, we’ve narrowed down the list of family-friendly places to eat, which will put a smile on everyone’s face this January.

Kids eat free

Nothing in life comes for free – except your kids’ meals at these venues during the holiday season.

Fratelli Fresh, Sydney NSW

Fratelli Fresh allows your kids to eat deliciously authentic Italian food every day of the week during January and there are eight different locations to choose from in Sydney – Alexandria, Bridge Street, Crows Nest, Darling Harbour, the Entertainment Quarter, Macquarie Street, Walsh Bay and Westfield Sydney. Chefs will whip up everything from children-favourites such as pizza and spaghetti Bolognese, to crisp pork belly with shaved cabbage and pancetta for the adults. Looking for a healthy pasta alternative? Swap it out for zucchini noodles and you’re sorted.

You’ll find it perched on the banks of the Yarra River in the modern WTC Wharf precinct – those city views will have you as captivated as the kids with their make-shift beach. There’s also live music every weekend and big screen TVs for sports enthusiasts who are great at multi-tasking while cheering on their favourite teams.
