Not a fan of Mondays? Just because Monday marks the start of the working week doesn’t mean it needs to be a day that we dread. Make Mondays marvelous by pleasing your palate with a tasty meal at a cracking restaurant. Many chefs do in fact don an apron and turn up the heat in the kitchen for your dining pleasure on Monday nights. Here’s what’s open.

The Ground Floor offers offers a relaxed dining experience with a simple (yet equally delicious) menu, whilst the Dining Room is a little more premium with dishes inspired by European flavours. If you’re after share plates and live music, try The Rooftop and be blown away by the soaring view of Swan River.
Neighbourhood favourite, Duende, welcomes you into their Spanish sanctuary filled with share plates and killer cocktails. The inviting establishment has an open kitchen floor plan that creates a rustic feel, featuring a ‘chef's table’ adjacent to the kitchen if you want to take a peek into the work behind your meal.
Himalayan Nepalese Restaurant, Victoria Park
Simple yet incredibly delicious, this friendly venue takes you on a journey to the Himalayas with its traditional Nepalese/Indian style menu. Operating across three Perth locations, this restaurant has all the curry you’ll ever need, and you’ll want to try them all.
El Grotto, Scarborough
This cantina celebrates Mexico with a rich culture, vibrant food and exquisite cocktails. Start the week off right and try the Bueno Bowl and Crispy Kipfler Potatoes with a side of sustainably sourced agave spirits.
Vans Cafe & Deli, Cottesloe
This grand old dame of Cottesloe, down at the railway end of Napoleon Street, really was an old-fashioned delicatessen once upon a time. Now it’s a bustling all day eatery. The sophisticated cuisine starts at noon and sails on into dinner. Try the blue swimmer crab linguine, or the masala spiced lamb rack.
Six Senses Thai, Subiaco
Blink and you’ll miss it. Six Senses Thai Restaurant is squeezed between other restaurants and retail stores on Subiaco’s busy Rokeby Road. Breaking through Subiaco’s cluttered restaurant space this is place to come for fresh Australian produce married with traditional Thai flavours.
