Chicken Schnitzel bagel with lemon, mayo, rocket and homemade crisps ($13.50, -50% off with The Fork Festival) — good crumbing and a tasty eat.

50% off food vis The Fork Festival makes this place even more affordable for quality dishes. Oysters ($5.50) shucked to order always good here. Prawn Linguini ($35) special of the day with black truffle was very nice. And the Tarte Tatin ($18) for dessert to finish so yummy. Good professional service and lovely view.
Simon dined on Thu, 4th Jul 2019 (8)
Tried the Oysters ($4.50) from Pambula shucked to order — nice brine and flavour, a bit roughly shucked on the presentation. Indulgence of Herbalicious ravioli - filled with local Aussie mushrooms, chestnust and ricotta with chives & brown butter sauce, topped with hazelnuts & raisins ($19) was tasty with nice pastry.

Restaurant life looking great matched with good service, a lovely view of the Harbour Bridge and a promising menu. The menu is designed to share and dishes are served in the order they're ready. To start Pacific oyster, bonito soy yuzu, spring onion oil ($5) have a tasty dressing that makes up for them being preshucked. CHUUKA ‘Ebi Chilli’, stir-fried prawn, chilli miso butter, Japanese milk buns ($42) comes with 6 large prawns. You'll also get 6 milk buns. Sauce was tasty with a pleasant hum of chilli. The perfectly soft buns served warm are handy to mop up the sauce. Prawn texture wasn't quite as firm as preferred on this occasion but after mentioning to the chef he has since made amendments in the kitchen to rectify for the better. Good use of the cleaned out prawn heads which have been fried to a decent crisp for added texture and to enjoy eating whole. Dish best shared between at least 2-3 people. Chase’s ‘Tempura Yuzu Chicken’, dried chilli, sweet & sour yuzu sauce ($24) is apparently one of their signature dishes. Tasty flavour reminding me of a sweet & sour sauce with some chilli heat but it's not as angry as it looks unless you bite on the dried chillis. Pleasant crisp batter that adds some crunch to the dish. A good one to share between 3-4 people.

Tried the Fishermans burger - Fried beer batter flathead, lettuce, tomato, American cheddar, tartar sauce ($16, $8 with the fork 50% off food) — was ok, small fish pieces used instead of 1 large piece which I'd prefer. Nice view of Darling Harbour.

A great view of the opera house here. Nice decor inside. Plenty of seating. Gin Martini ($22) ordered with Distillery Botanica but came out with The Botantist Gin. Was rectified and later comped due to a couple of menu hiccups that followed. Oysters ($27 half dozen) could be improved, especially when service assured me they were 'shucked to order' when queried. They were missing their brine and stuck to the shell which could only have happened when preshucked. They brought out a second batch to redeem themselves which were shucked to order with some brine retained — much better. Steak Sandwich - brioche, striploin, grilled portobello, tomato confit, red onion marmalade, chips ($28) — a tasty hunger buster although it's more a ciabatta than a brioche. The tomato confit was missing from the sandwich but the kitchen rectified by bringing out a bowl of them after which helped provide a bit of extra moisture. Nice piece of steak and really enjoyed the portobello mushroom slices. Fries were crispy and well seasoned as hoped. I think the venue has lots of potential with some better attention to detail. Other dishes spotted at other tables looked very promising.

A great spot for a casual lunch with good service and tasty food. Using my $20 Rewards Point to try the Wagyu burger, cheese, pickles, lettuce, sauces, tomato, with shoestring fries $19. Nice bun, tasty slightly charred patty cooked well to a medium finish as ordered. Nice crispy well seasoned fries.

50% off food makes it a great deal for pasta dishes cooked to order. Hoping they can improve the chilli heat factor in their chilli oil though which is a bit tame.

$19 lunch time menu with a beer/wine is pretty good value. Used my $20 dimmi rewards. Tried the Captain Jack's Seafood Basket. Served in a large steamer basket. Generous portion. Cooked well. Good sized side salad with plenty of tasty dressing. Friendly service. Nice outlook towards the city across Darling Harbour.

50% The Fork deal is a great way to save. Ordered the oysters but weren't shucked to order as previous visits but service and chef kindly prepared another serving shucked to order which were very good with plenty of brine and flavour. Ended up not being charged for them. Spaghetti - king prawns, calamari, scallops, basil, cherry tomatoes had a nice tasty rich sauce. The 2 'king prawns' were small in size. Scallops not particularly noticeable as they seemed finely chopped up in the mix. Fair amount of calamari pieces. Service friendly and welcoming. Decor simple and outlook pleasant from the balcony terrace area.

took advantage of half price dining deal. good oysters shucked to order. unfortunately a very long 45 minute wait for entree and salad to arrive due to a service and kitchen miscommunication which wasn't good for this level of dining. service comped a glass of wine as an apology. would have probably tried a dessert but ran out of time.

2 dishes for $20 is a great deal on mon-wed. chicken pad thai and beef pad see ew were both good. love the addition of the thai condiments available to add extra flavour. chicken satay was yummy, although came out after the mains had been served and was expecting it before as an entree.

Always love this part of Woolloomooloo with the water and city view. I love my oysters but I'm suspecting the Sydney Rock Oysters from Pambula ($22, 6 pieces, shucked on premises) were preshucked before service so unfortunately missing their flavoursome brine and half were poorly presented in the shell which is disappointing to see for such a nice fine dining restaurant in this area. The chilli coriander dressing is a good choice though to help save them from their lack of brine flavour and moistness — or a squeeze of lemon if having natural Angus Flat Iron Steak 200g, pasture fed, chimichurri, onion rings ($29) was a lovely tasty steak cooked medium rare with 3 crispy onion rings and flavoursome chimichurri. The jus was good as well. You can also pick a mustard of your choice to have on the side. Nice with a glass of 2015 Lorca Fantasia Malbec, Mendoza ($14) although the bottle label was 2017 so wine menu needs to be updated. Service was friendly and welcoming with just a bit of lapse in attention towards the end when needing to follow up to pay for the bill. Nice decor and a lovely setting very suitable for business meetings.

Fantastic local gem. Excellent oysters shucked to order with good amount of brine and flavour. Lovely service. Nice space. Crispy squid and chicken liver pate great entrees to share. Kids fish and chips for $20 is pretty huge which even I would struggle finishing — probably best shared between 2 small kids. Banoffee pie very nice with excellent short crust pastry and generous enough to share the decadence. Fig & custard brûlée tart with rosewater gelato was very yummy. That rosewater gelato very refreshing and full of flavour. My new favourite bistro in Sydney. I wish I lived closer.
Simon dined on Wed, 2nd Aug 2017 (10)
One of my favourite restaurants for an oyster fix as they shucked them to order with a good amount of brine and flavour retained. Love their pavlova dessert as well.
Simon dined on Mon, 17th Jul 2017 (8)
Sydney Rock Oysters shucked to order and retain some of their flavoursome brine. Very good Steak Frites with tender meat, cooked medium rare and crispy chips on the side. Apparently a bit of a signature dish for the restaurant.
Simon dined on Tue, 11th Jul 2017 (8)
Oysters are pretty big pacifics and come with a tasty dressing flavour although preshucked so missing their natural brine. Number One Special is quite theatrical as it's on fire at the table. Volcano Roll is a generous serving and best shared between two.
Simon dined on Tue, 27th Jun 2017 (9)
Great friendly service and dishes bursting with flavour. Loved the Butter Chicken and King Prawn and Scallop Curry. The complimentary serve of pappadums with mint sauce when you first sit down are my favourite in Sydney. So crispy, not fatty to the touch and a really tasty mint sauce.

$12 lunch special good value. The combination fried rice was generous in size and pretty tasty. Be sure to ask for some chilli sauce or soy sauce with fresh chilli for extra flavour. If the wok hei was pushed a bit further will add a bit more smokey flavour.

Upon arrival loved the decor and ambience. The food we had was very good too. Very tender and tasty hanger steak and a generous sized spatchcock were good standouts. Friendly reception service to start and when seated although throughout the dining experience our mostly perfunctory table service from the restaurant manager became increasingly absent and as there didn't seem to be an allocated waiter for our table once mains were served and there was no-one touching base to offer more wine and after mains no timely clearing of dishes and no followup of offering a dessert menu. It got to the point where we felt very neglected while other tables around us were being served. I brought the lack of service to the attention of our initial reception service and finally we had David allocated to us who redeemed the night with his understanding and professional friendly service and provided our desserts complimentary to help make up for the absence of service that had occurred. The desserts were very good. Crepe suzette had a nice thin crepe that was delicate in texture and full of boozy flavour and the chocolate profiteroles with ice cream nice and light and crisp with plenty of chocolate sauce. I think if the service was more engaging and consistently friendly throughout the dining experience I would have been more likely to refer a friend and the service rating would have definitely been higher.
Simon dined on Mon, 20th Mar 2017 (8)
Love the decor and service was very good — friendly and welcoming. Needed to remind them of the Dimmi Rewards though at the time of billing but this seems to be a common oversight I find at many restaurants when you redeem Dimmi rewards even though it's clear on the actual booking.

Booked in for a 50% off food Dimmi promo. Nice comfortable seating and decor with pleasant ambient chill out background music. Complimentary house made bread was good and came with a plentiful supply of mushroom tapenade which could have had a touch more seasoning for me. Oysters 'freshly shucked to order' with lychee, lime and coriander ($22, half dozen) were apparently from Pambula when I asked service. Oysters were quite small and very rustic oyster shell shaped. One quite thin and angular which had no hope of retaining any of the brine. Some brine available in some but hard to tell with the flavour added. A squeeze of lemon made them better for me. Linguine of Spanner crab meat, creamy bisque, cherry tomatoes, lemon oil ($29 on menu, $28 on website) had noticeable yummy crab meat. Nice flavoured sauce. Would have probably added an extra pinch of salt if available on the table. Lovely couple of spoonfuls of the sauce at the end to enjoy. For dessert I ordered the Orange & Cardamom Panna cotta, blood oranges, vanilla cream ($15) although it came with cherries and I think a rum and raisin chocolate ice cream so menu not quite reflecting the dish here. Lovely flavours with a decent wobble factor in the panna cotta. Service was friendly and started off well although towards the end became too absent with followups on the dessert order. Waited for more than 10 mins in an empty restaurant before they came back to ask what I'd like to order. They seemed more interested with a bit of jovial banter with the chefs in the kitchen to fill in their time. Maybe I got half price service as well hehe ;-)

My $0.00 lunch feed covered by redeeming my $20 Dimmi rewards food voucher. Wagyu burger - ground wagyu patty, American cheese, red onion, house made dill pickle, lettuce, tomato, mustard, special sauce & tomato relish ($14), Chips ($3), Bacon ($3) — 🥓 pretty decent burger with good chips and melty cheese. Nice house made pickle. A bit more 'special sauce' would have been good to be more noticeable. The bacon could have been better with a more consistent crisp factor throughout and more of it to add more flavour. Service was efficient and friendly and kitchen turnaround pretty good considering it was a busy day. Pleasant space for a casual lunch eat.
Simon dined on Thu, 19th Jan 2017 (9)
Tried Chicken Namban Teishoku - fried chicken topped with tartare sauce set meal. Pre-warned when ordering there would be a 15 minute wait for cooking but glad I waited, crispy batter, moist chicken, yummy dish, was a little concerned about the tartare sauce but worked well, flavoursome soup, tasty dressed salmon sashimi, was hoping to fit in a dessert but this pretty much filled me up. Polite, friendly and professional service a great asset to this restaurant.
Simon dined on Wed, 18th Jan 2017 (7)
Nice decor and space with high ceiling. Efficient service. Oysters pre shucked so minimal brine and flavour and quite small in size. Service and kitchen didn't seem to know where they were from besides telling me the were Sydney Rock. Scallops with anchovy quite nice with good flavour. Prawn and octopus pasta was pretty good with lots of flavour achieved in the sauce. Pasta itself was very al dente. Coconut and mango pannacotta was nice with decent wobble achieved in the pannacotta. Plenty of fruit although not quite sure if mango was fresh or frozen as it as quite chilled and slightly icy and lacked a rich flavour of mango. Being in season I hope they were using fresh mangos.

Eleven Bridge now sits where Rockpool Est. 1989 was with an introduced a la carte menu, similar decor and new polished floorboards, and apparently a new kitchen floor as well. Service is polite, formal and professional. French cart service brings a bit of theatre to the table. The complimentary special appetiser of chicken wing in kombu butter topped with caviar is so good if you're lucky to get one and overshadows the amuse-bouche of crisp nori with crab meat. Complimentary sourdough bread served with an addictive kombu butter and light tasting housemade ricotta made just that morning makes for a nice start as you wait for your first dish. Sydney Rock Oysters served natural ($4.50) from Merimbula have a nice amount of brine and are presented well on ice with a netted lemon. The tasty side dressing goes really well as an option. I've decided to match with a glass of their featured Nantua by Giaconda Chardonnay 2015 ($25) with lovely flavour and buttery notes. For main the Roast lobster served with various garnishes and congee sauce ($120 market price) is plated table side from a trolley. The local lobster is cooked well with a decent amount of meat for its size. The sauce is tasty although has quite a few 'garnishes' added which goes against the 'less is more' preference for me. Not so keen on the crispy fried bits of bread which probably suits a more traditional congee soup and I think I'd probably be just as happy with a couple less ingredients so the dish focussed more on the tasty sauce base and allowed the lobster meat to shine as the main ingredient. Just before finishing a complimentary leaf salad with palm sugar vinaigrette is served to help cleanse the palate and enjoy with any remaining sauce on the plate. For dessert the legendary Date tart — original recipe from 1984 ($20) was a must. Rockpool Est. 1989 used to serve small slices as petit fours but now its made its way on the dessert menu. You could probably share but it's light enough to enjoy all to yourself. A selection of four petit fours follows for an extra sugar hit. I probably should have ordered a coffee at this point to help wash it all down. The choux pastry one was so surprisingly light in texture and a favourite. After checking out the nice toilets upstairs (with welcomed privacy screens I should add) I spotted a romantic table for two on the balcony which apparently is table 50, or affectionately known as the Romeo & Juliet table. If you're planning a date night this is the one to ask for in your booking. All in all a very pleasant dining experience and one that leaves me curious to try more of the menu.

First time visit on a rainy day. They loose quite a bit of outside seating during wet weather but inside suitable for solo or couples to sit along the window. The White cod roe tarama, finger limes, simit chips ($16) — addictive and tasty, good one to share, more chips needed to finish though or order a sesame ring simit bread which goes really well with it. Seared scallops, jerusalem artichokes, crispy falafel ($21) — nicely cooked scallops and an enjoyable flavour combo. Turkish mess, merengue, mastika cream, pomegranate, figs ($15) — very yummy flavours and textures working in harmony together. That mastika cream that sits underneath is addictive. You can share but you won't want to. Great take on an Eton Mess but making it Turkish. A new Simon Favourite.
Simon dined on Tue, 2nd Aug 2016 (8)
Spanner crab crostini nice — a squeeze of lemon would do it wonders which I got from my oysters. Oysters good. Shucked to order as always preferred. Presentation in the shell of the rocks better than the Pacifics. They must have struggled opening them. Good amount of brine although can't quite tell if any washing was done? Or if all natural brine. Ox tartare well presented. Felt it needed some citrus zing like a good squeeze of lemon and not quite sure if capers in there but more of it and extra onion would have been good. Great little crackers. Wanted the baby gem salad side but not available today so opted for eggplant side. Was good and very generous size best shared between 3-4 although I managed to finish to not waste anything. Dipping sauce or herbed aioli would go well with it. If the gem salad was available it would have left more room for that upside pineapple cake dessert I spotted on the menu.
Simon dined on Fri, 29th Jul 2016 (9)
Very impressed with the service staff that are friendly, welcoming, polite and professional — a true asset to this restaurant. Decor nice and pleasant ambient background music. Definitely not as busy as the other restaurants along the wharf but I'm suspecting that's partly due to their limited outside seating space compared to the others and proximity to the road rather than the water. Pappadums with Mint Sauce are served complimentary to diners when first seated. Very generous portion, excellent thin and crispy texture, yummy mint sauce that has a bit of spicy kick. Surprisingly not too oily to the touch. You can order extra for only $4 — bargain. These are the best pappadums I've had in Sydney. Lamb cutlets marinated with ginger, garam masala, lime and cardamom ($14) — tasty, juicy, good size, not sure if it needs the large onion slices though as I probably wouldn't eat those. Garlic Naan ($5) — thin style, nice flavour although not so keen on the crunchy garlic bits on the surface that impart a slightly burnt garlic flavour. Prefer a softer, fluffier and thicker style of naan to soak up the curry. Jumbo prawns and scallops, snake beans, green mango and curry leaves in a subtle mild coconut turmeric broth ($36) — very tasty, 4 large deveined prawns and 2 scallops included. I reckon 2 more scallops would be good though so the dish could be evenly shared between 4 people at a table and some extra cherry tomato halves would go well instead of just the single one on top. Would have loved more shredded green mango as well as it goes really well in the dish and there was plenty of curry to accommodate it. I opted for a garlic naan with the dish but some basmati rice would be best to use up the curry.

'Local oysters' ($28 for 6) with cider sorbet — Sydney Rock oysters from Port Stephens, seem preshucked so missing their valuable brine which is disappointing for such a premium price of more than $4.50 each. The cider sorbet is very nice though and works well with the oyster with a squeeze of lemon to bring them back to life. Smoked king prawn, roe, rye toast ($19) — tasty flavours, nicely cooked prawn. The prawn mixture on the toast had quite a different texture to the cooked prawn and was kind of like a ceviche or prawn tartare although was told it was cooked rather than being raw. Swedish Chocolate cake, ice cream, toffee ($15) — nice texture and flavour, would have loved a bit more ice cream or some extra cream to go with the amount of cake served to last throughout the dish. Nice delicate toffee pieces for texture. Served with a spoon but a fork would have also been helpful to eat with otherwise you start chasing pieces around the plate. Good service and dimly lit decor was nice and interesting.

Invited as a guest to sample the menu. Nice decor and venue space. Lots of seating. Outside grass area handy for entertaining kids on a nice day. Artisan rosemary and Sicilian sea salt focaccia with caramelised red onions makes for a tasty starter. The Jacks Creek wagyu beef tri top 250g ($32) was tasty and tender. Opted for the seasonal salad which was served underneath although my preference would be served to the side. Chicken Wings ($18, 4 pieces) were good with lots of flavour. Opted for the hand cut chips with it. Desserts are well catered for and made in-house. The Lemon Meringue was a personal favourite with enjoyable balance of flavour and nice thin pastry. There's limited parking on site for hotel guests which can be used by visitors to the restaurant. On the weekend there's was plenty of spots available.

2nd day of opening. Solo visit. Tried the cured mackerel. strong flavours, skin quite tough which was hard to cut through with entree knife provided so peeled most of it away from the flesh. the dish was quite salty but flavours and ingredients worked well together. twice cooked goats cheese soufflé was tasty and light in texture. rosemary seemed quite subtle in flavour for me. served with a little roasted onion on the side. rum baba for dessert had a nice light sponge texture. drenched with Sailor Jerry spiced rum at the table although I think a flambé would have helped take some of the dominant alcohol taste away and leave a more rounded pleasant flavour of rum throughout the dessert. the clotted cream came in a small pot on the side that you serve yourself. the top of it was congealed like a plug and the smooth cream underneath quite runny. i would have preferred a firmer texture and served on the dessert ready to eat. the soused cherries were nice and gave some relief to the harsh alcohol flavour. i think i should have perhaps gone for the apple tart fine instead. Service started off strong. Professional, welcoming and friendly. But towards the end simply had their service blinkers on. I lost count how many walked past my table with a finished dessert plate pushed away from me, looked sort of at it, around the table, at the next table, and then kept walking on. It seemed like they were looking but not really looking — looking busy me thinks. Finally after 12+ minutes it was collected but no follow up on perhaps a coffee or ready for the bill. Another 10+ minutes past with an empty table with service unaware I seemed to exist I headed to the cashier to pay. Only early days but I'd expect service to be more on top of it for such a nice restaurant fit out and prestigious chef in the kitchen. I'd probably visit again to try other dishes. The separate tables are preferable to the communal seating if you're not keen on sitting next to strangers so specify when you book.

Great place to enjoy quality oysters shucked to order. Well presented and they retain all the brine and flavour. $5 each and from David Tunstead Oysters this time around. Kindly gifted on this visit which was a pleasant surprise when coming to pay for the bill. Tried their specials menu item of Wood-roasted King Salmon Tail, rouille, roast cherry tomatoes ($35). Nicely cooked and crisp skin and tasty flesh. Plump sweet tomatoes. Service good and decor nice. I always prefer to sit closer to the lobby for the natural light during the day.

Guest visit to sample the menu. Beef tataki, sticky rice, shiso, ponzu ($22) was nice flavour. I'm more used to seeing this dish presented flat and swimming in dressing rather than stacked though. Prawn & lobster ravioli, kombu broth ($24) was an interesting take on this dish as the prawn was used to wrap the lobster meat rather than using pasta. Really enjoyed the broth flavour and texture of the seafood. Poached salmon, cucumber, watermelon, clams soubise ($35) had nice flavours although the salmon is served cold and would much prefer it warm to match the rest of the dish temperature. Very enjoyable flavour from the soubise. Chicken assiette ($36) was an enjoyable dish. Also included peas and bacon or speck I think. For dessert the Dark chocolate mousse, mixed berries, white chocolate ($12) was well liked although was served with just strawberries rather than mixed berries. Mousse texture was smooth and flavoursome. Espresso crème brulee, hazelnut praline, icecream ($12) had a good thin hard caramel crunch on top of the creme brûlée with noticeable coffee flavour. Service was down-to-earth, friendly and professional. The decor nice and background music pleasant. The tables next to the lounge wall were larger than the smaller ones next to the sandstone and mirror wall which were noticeably small that it unfortunately impended on the leg room for two people sitting together plus leaving little room on the table for cutlery, glasses and dishes being served. Lighting is quite bright in the dining room and I think could be turned down a little to give a more romantic and intimate feel to the space — although it did make it easier to photo my food hehe

Invited as a guest to sample the menu. Sydney Rock Oysters from Pambula were nice and fresh even though pre shucked ahead of service. Presented well with still some brine flavour and served on ice. A Mignonette Sauce would have gone well with them. Stuffed zucchini flowers with buffalo ricotta, mascarpone, black truffle paste & lemon gremolata had a nice crisp thin batter and a flavoursome stuffing. Seafood linguine cooked in a paper bag had an abundance of seafood and a tasty sauce. Open the bag promptly before it overcooks inside the bag. The Ravioli filled with Blue swimmer crab, lobster, prawns served with seafood bisque had enjoyable flavour although would have loved the filled to have some more recognisable pieces of seafood rather than being blended to a smooth pulp. Pasta was good. Tiramisu had all the right flavours although could have soaked a bit longer to provided more of a wet texture. Panna cotta was very nice with a good wobble factor. Affogato Corretto of Vanilla gelato, Frangelico & espresso had a good amount of ice cream which is always preferred. Service was friendly and efficient. Some water views to be had from mostly the outdoor seating.

Enjoyed freshly shucked Sydney Rock Oysters from 3 different regions, Hastings River, Moreton Bay and Merimbula. Also shared their signature dish Bouillabaisse with lots of seafood and a great tasting sauce. Lovely view too. Dined as a guest of the restaurant with compliments of the chef.

Invited as a guest to sample the menu. Lovely views over the water. Friendly service. Nice decor. Very nice tasting dishes. The Balmain Bug Curry and Lamb Cutlets were a favourite I'd happily get again. Really tasty Fish Malai with infused oils although i think the presentation could be better. Stuffed mushrooms with Green Pea & Carrot Puree was tasty but again wasn't a fan of the presentation with the green smears inside the bowl which made the dish look messy. I'd rather just see the pea puree nicely presented alongside the dish or used as a bed underneath the mushrooms. Good quality wines on offer. For dessert we got to try the mango Pistachio Kulfi with Faluda which was good too.

Invited guest visit to check out the menu. Very pleasant experience and the food was very interesting and tasty. A great addition to the sydney dining scene and quite unique. Personal favourites were the scallops, salmon & prawn on papdi base, sesame crusted okra, beetroot croquettes, 5 spice crusted barramundi and beetroot & apple raita. It certainly is a menu that tempts you to come back to try more so hats off to the chef. Was a full house today so very popular. Great for date night or first date. Service was friendly and professional. There was a black out during the dining experience. Very strange and sounded like it's happened before. Kitchen must be draining a lot of power perhaps?

Invited to sample the menu. Food was well presented with good flavours. Pan-seared scallops with chorizo and sweet corn puree ($25, 4 pieces) was very good. All day braised lamb ribs, membrillo, roasemary, sherry vinegar ($27, 6 pieces) was tender and tasty as hoped. Ceviche of local snapper, citrus, beetroot, roast peppers, dill aioli ($22) had a lovely combination of flavours. Yamba prawn salad, garden peas, persina eta, mint, citrus vinaigrette ($20) was generous in size with plump nicely grilled prawns. For dessert the Churros, cinnamon sugar, spiced chocolate ($10) was nicely cooked with an outer crunch and soft inner finish. Thank you Barrafina for the invitation to sample your menu.

Lovely food and friendly service. Loved the Eton Mess dessert although menu said blueberries and it arrived as mango instead. Luckily I love mango and worked really well in the dish. A bit of a long lapse between mains and dessert, especially for a Pei Quick menu which is supposed to be quite timely. Needed to followup about the coffee included which wasn't mentioned until prompted. Good topping up of table water.

Much more welcoming space compared to their previous decor. Coffin Bay Pacific Oyster, Sugarcane Dressing ($3) were very nice. Grilled Corn, Coconut Cream ($5) was interesting and worked well on flavour as something different. Pad Thai with chicken ($18) was cooked well and had very tasty twice fried chicken with a thin crispy batter. Service was attentive enough and efficient. Keen to return to try other new dishes on the menu.
