We enjoy dining in the french style establishment, and the spatchcock and the steak were both very tasty and well cooked - the wine selection is outstanding here.. however have noticed the price of the steak frites significantly increased since our latest visit. The service was perfunctory, however nothing special as we are used to from Merivale establishments.

This was a team night out. We had a good time however it could’ve been great if they had added a few service staff to support the one waitress in the restaurant. She was run off her feet. Food was good including the ribs, an eye fillet, gnocchi and the Parma. Wine selection was also good.

We love the modern fresh update to the decor. The menu is delicious. We enjoyed a flatbread to start and then had porchetta and the pasta. Very enjoyable meal.

We love coming to Nomad. The new empanada is delicious! The kingfishe ceviche was a stand out and we really enjoyed the beef cheek. Wines are divine too. We highly recommend this place and will be back.

we love Ms G and took our cousins who were visiting from out of town -they rated it as the best dining experience so far in Sydney, and we have tried a few.. another reason it is one of our favourites! Tried the crispy Perch -a big hit, the fried rice was super tasty and the duck pancakes are always yum.. do not forge to have a cheeseburger spring roll!

the view of darling harbour is lovely to enjoy. the lunch period is a very busy one and its rather loud, and service can be a little slow. Food was nice enough, though my thai beef salad was dry.. the pork belly my friend had was better. Might need to try again at dinner.

we had some delicious skewers, both the pork and chicken were delicious! the mussaman beef was very tasty and the crispy noodles with pork and prawn is very yummy and worth trying! its not the cheapest Asian food, but the quality is really very good and the wine list is excellent!

we love Grolla.. Lek and Paolo always make us feel welcome, and we love the menu! Last night we had the new prawn and brandy pasta-yum! the lamb ragu pasta and the ever favourite carbonara pasata, which really for me is the best one. we will return!

we enjoyed some very delicious Asian food at Queen Chow. We love the cha siu in particular, the best we have tried! The other yummy dishes we had included duck, san choy bow and some mixed dumplings. The great wine selection also meant we were able to try a few new drops. Will be back for sure.

the food is really inventive and different chinese food -yummy dumplings, great noodles, the duck was a real stand out. the only thing that lets the place down is the lack of attention form the service staff. it was not very busy the night we went, and there were many staff on the floor but we always seemed to be having to flag them down. Hopefully that improves in future as we would be keen to return.

We love having a birthday treat from the greens to visit. Not that we need an excuse. The food is generally pretty good but we ordered the chicken wings and I must say they weren’t good value despite being quite tasty. It’s a great place to gather with friends for drinks.

We went to celebrate my birthday and could not have been happier! We shared the fest banquet menu and every morsel was delicious, special favourite being the spatchcock and the haloumi.. and with many wines available by the glass or carafe we could try a different with almost every course. we will return again and again.

We were recommended this place by a friend and we are so glad we came. The handmade pastas are outstanding. We had the bucatini and the lasagne. Also tried the parfait. Yummy. Dessert was ice cream sandwich. Will be back for sure.

we love Grolla - it is a must visit for when you are in the mood for italian food. It is delicious, and often inventive too - with Lek developing the menu all the time - meaning we get to experience yummy food. Their version of a carbonara is still my favourite, but the beef cheek special was melt in your mouth divine!

this was not the first time we have been to indu, and the food is what keeps us returning. The goat dosa was outstanding, with just the right hit of chili that does not overpower the flavours. the pork curry was divine. only thing is to ask for your breads/ dosa crispy else is comes a little underdone for our taste. The service is also a little hit and miss.

we enjoyed the vivid cruise progressive dinner between ripples Milsons point and Chowder bay - both places had friendly service and delicious food, however whilst the view of the harbour is one of the best in the world, the ambience of the Chowder Bay establishment was more relaxed, less noisy and just nice. only small gripe was that the wine came out late at one place, after the food had been served. in the second place the food was warm, not hot -but small things.

We took the family out to celebrate my DAD's birthday. The views were spectacular and the service generally very good. We shared some of the best scallops I've had. We all had different mains. Pork belly was tasty and the steak very delicious too. The quail was not cooked through in some parts but the staff sorted this out and otherwise the flavour of the quail was delightful. Also the lamb pasta was great.

This is a great little establishment! The cocktails are different and delicious. We enjoyed a selection of meats which are cured in house along with cheeses. The wagyu pastrami is s stand out. The tartine of pumpkin and feta was nice but nothing compared to the other items. The tomato straciatella dip also worth a mention. Will return.

We enjoyed the outdoor seating in the sun on a fine Sydney day with friends. The service was a little slow but friendly enough. The food was nice. We all ate pasta and the crab linguine was tasty but we needed to season it. The prawn one was delicious.

We order from quan Viet often but rarely get the chance to dine in. The service was friendly albeit a little slow. The food is always tasty and we recommend both the fresh spring rolls and the beef pho. However the crispy chicken came covered in sauce which made it soggy. May need to be renamed.

We enjoyed a friends catch up at the rumpus room. Delicious cheese and meats board with a burrata to start. Then we each enjoyed different pastas and risotto. The chitarone was particularly delicious. Only shame was that half the wines weren't available from the list. Service was friendly just a tad slow but it was a busy night.

We shared a few dishes including the camel sausage which is worth a try, very spicy and delicious. The humus and Leanne were also yum. The lovely waiter was so kind and shared a few tastes of Turkish wine so we could decide which one we liked. A great way to introduce unknown wines to the diners. Glad to be back and will return.

We had the most superb meal at Blanca, and would highly recommend it for anyone keen to get a special meal with family or friends. The attention to detail, the flavours and textures work perfectly! we had the tasting menu and I had the paired wine/ sake which I would recommend. the service was a little hit and miss sadly as some of the staff didn't appear to have been trained as well as others.. but overall amazing experience. we shall return.

We love this local gem. The haloumi is home made and a must do. The spit roast meats are amazing and the service is first rate. If only they could do something about the noise it would make such a difference.

This is truly one of the best restaurants in Sydney. The food is clever, innovative yet unfussy and delicious! Chef Jacqui and her team never fail. We enjoyed the empanadas. A must. Then burrata followed by the tongue and the spatchcock. Even had room for desserts this time. The icre cream sandwich is highly recommended. Will be back for sure.

The food at barrel is always delicious. We had quail which was tasty and well cooked. My pork belly and black pudding was outstanding too. My partners gnocchi a lite harder than pillow soft but the ragu was divine. This is a bit of a shame as the service is almost nonexistent. We live around the corner and have only eaten here twice as a result. Sadly we are unlikely to return.

We had the perfect view over the water on a warm winter night and whilst the food was very good we have had better fine dining. The real disappointment was that they haven't trained the staff so questions needed to be referred to be answered a few times. We also had to ask for water and wine refills a few times. And it wasn't that busy. Shame. we won't be back due to Sydney being spoilt for choice at the higher end of dining.

We were little surprised by this meal as we are generally big fratelli friends. Having eaten at most of their joints. Linguine prawn was nice however the prawns were a little watery. The bistecca was sadly cold and despite asking for it to be warmed to the point that at least the butter melted. It was not quite there. Having been here for a good meal before I might try it again to see if it's improves. But not sure. Shame as the rest of the fratelli brand is able to deliver.

The beef rib is always a winner, and the new skewers are tasty little morsels to prepare your palate - the octopus was tender and delicious, as was the cured kingfish -we will return again.

The steak here is always excellent and this evening was just as outstanding..we both had rib eye on the bone and the dry aged version was just that little more flavorsome. Whilst it was very busy the service was friendly and attentive. All in all a great meal.

we love this little local gem Entwine.. with many new and different wines to discover, and they change too so you always have reasons to return. the food is shared, with delicious morsels in tapas style. Emmilou is a great little neighbourhood find.. all the tapas dishes were delicious, the croque senor, the zucchini flowers and the special cheese sticks all divine. sadly the paella was a bit of a let down especially given the price. would go back for drinks and snack though

the food here is divine, traditional french flavours.. i had the souffle, light cheesy delicious! and my partner the duck terrine, equally delihgtful and a fairly sizeable portion. My duck pie and truffle mash was to die for, and my partners lamb was also tasty. the service however was really inattentive despite them being plentiful, they simply are not looking around enough which is a shame as it meant we didnt get those 2nd glasses of wine nor dessert. their loss.

we love the steak here and will be coming back again and again. Its not cheap but the quality is worth the price if you are looking for a really good steak cooked perfectly. we had the dry aged rib eye and the striploin and enjoyed both.

We went for the signature crayfish spaghetti dish and whilst it was nice it didnt blow my socks off, and at 95$ it really should. the views are divine and the rest of the meal was delicious, duck and lamb, and we shared a delightful chocolate shared platter.. service was friendly enough, though not at the standard one might expect for the price

this is a lovely little gem of an Italian.. feels like a modern take on the Trattoria..complete with warm service staff and delicious food. we were a party of four and shared entrees-olives, polenta cakes, zucchini flowers and arancini-all were lovely. the mains also very very good, but the highlight had to be the feather light gnocchi.. we will be back.

We were surprised at how busy the place was for a Tuesday night, which gave the buzzy vibe of a great steak joint.. sadly the service was not able to keep up - nor were they quite as knowledgeable as you would expect of an exceptional steak restaurant. We were impressed by the food very much, 2 different steaks and a chicken dish were all delightful, preceded by crisp light zucchini flowers. it was a disappointment though at the end of the meal when the dimmi deal had to be explained to the waitress twice and there was a bad taste left as a result of us trying to explain, there really is no need for a voucher and you have it noted on your system that we booked a dimmi deal, that is why we use dimmi as a booking portal specifically as there is no need to remember a voucher.. dimmi may need to educate the establishments and their staff better to ensure a simply delicious meal is not ruined due to service miscommunication.

If only our waitress were to have given us a smile, or any sign of engagement, this meal would have been pleasant. But she was not versed in the art of customer service sadly. the food, whilst not your traditional authentic Vietnamese, was very tasty - though serving a soup to be eatien in a hand rolled rice wrap was a little unsual, the taste was great. We also had the Pork and egg special dish of Vietnam, which was lovely and full of flavour, the only downside to the sizzling duck, was once the sizzle has abated, there was a lot of oil left which wasnt pleasant. Shame, as we were keen on something new.

we had a most enjoyable meal, and couldn't fault any of the elements.. the boar ragu, the burger (which was surprisingly amazing) and the pork shoulder, all very yum!.. even the wine list has a huge amount of choice. I wouldn't call it a cheap eat, but it is worth the extra cash when you are in the mood for a nice meal out.
