Great service as always

This place is amazing. I came here twice in one week. They were so accommodating and even gave us entrees and dessert on the house! Great service and tasty food. Only wish the menu was more extensive!

Long Chim Sydney

Sydney CBD

Got the smaller set menu. Food was tasty but a little stingy with the ingredients, v little prawn in the curry and just a lot of coconut milk. No dessert in the $50 set menu. Felt rushed the entire time. Got served entrees before all guests had even arrived and really poor communication from the staff.

Altitude Restaurant

Sydney CBD

Loved this place. Waited for about 6 months before my friends and I could decide on a date and the restaurant was available. Food was amazing and drinks kept flowing. Would definitely go back. Only bad thing was we didn’t get seats next to the windows but will request especially for that next time.

Salt Meats Cheese- Circular Quay

Circular Quay

Not a great experience. We went on a Friday night during vivid. Heard great things about their pasta in a cheese wheel and were told they only do that on Wednesday nights - no mention of this on their website. They had nothing special to offer on a Friday night. V poor service, constantly being bugged to order since we sat down and before all our guests had arrived. Then kept being rushed to finish and given our bill without asking. The restaurant wasn’t even pack out but we felt we were being pushed out. Was there for under an hour with a group of 6. Definitely won’t be going back. V disappointing.

Ho Jiak Haymarket

The menu was really extensive and we may have gotten a little too excited and over ordered but we still made space for desssert! The hainan chicken rice was tasty but the jumbo nasi goreng was the star. Next time might just get the nasi goreng to share between 2 ppl and nothing else coz it is so filling and that way you can try 3/4 different items. The dessert was also delicious - affogato ice cream - probs didn’t need to share that one! Only thing I would say did not pass was the grilled lamb chops...not much flavour and a bit too red for our liking. Def coming back to try other items!

El Camino Cantina

The Rocks

- weekend brunch (with unlimited drinks) menu at restaurant is different to what is advertised on website. - got the unlimited drinks menu for 1 hr - found that the bartender/waitress took longer and longer to get our next drinks - food was good - share plates had very small portions - not all waitresses spoke english so it was hard to enquire about the menu

Mezza Train

Quick service. The Grilled menu was delicious as were the lady arms! The mezza train concept is clever and a great way to try a variety of lebanese food.

The Meat & Wine Co Barangaroo

I loved this place! Amazing service - waiters were so friendly and helpful and always on call! Not a bit of rudeness :) and the food was great! Especially the choc ganache that was on special! The restaurant itself was pretty and we got a great seat near the window downstairs. Definitely coming back to try the other food and to see the view from the upstairs floors! :)

Maya Da Dhaba

Surry Hills

the food was delicious - however we asked for spicy and it wasnt at all...the serving bowls look small but they really do fill you up. We went when it was a bit quiet so I was a little disappointed in the service having to try to grab the attention of waiters….also their English communication skills were not very good so we had some difficulties with orders. The food was delicious and served quickly! I love that place – I wanna go back and try everything! The chai was lacking a little bit of indian authenticity but still tasty 

Nepalese Kitchen

Surry Hills

The food was no good - it was very poor, lacking flavour and presentation was terrible. the fried prawn dish was way too oily and the dishes very small. although most indian/nepalese restaurants do have smaller serving dishes they still give a lot of substantial amount of food/meat - however this place the quantity was not sufficient of filling at all. the atmosphere was nice and cosy - maybe a little too cosy especially near the stairs and when trying to get to the front door....little bit disappointed with my first nepalese cuisine experience.
