I loved the 5 course menu - each dish was delicious, fresh and so creative. Perfect size dishes. Excellent wine selection and many affordable options. Fantastic service. I’d definitely recommend this place and would go back agai .

The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room

Sydney CBD

The Morrison has a great vibe, fantastic cocktails, and the $1 oysters are so fresh and delicious and cheap! The food in the restaurant is delicious and well priced. What lets this place down a bit is the incredibly slow service. It took ages to get anyone’s attention to order, drinks were very slow coming or missed all together. I think you’re better off sitting in the front bar area and ordering your own.

Bambini Trust Restaurant & Wine Room

A beautiful place for lunch, dinner or cocktails. We had a beautiful truffle pasta and a salmon dish for lunch, both were excellent. Fantastic selection of wines. Service is very good, and it’s lovely to sit outside facing the park on a nice day. It’s a shame it’s not open during the day on weekends - this seems like a real missed opportunity. This is not a place for every day - 2 meals, 4 glasses of wine and sparkling water came out at $190. The delicious food and atmosphere are well worth it.

Love this place so much! Incredible French food, beautiful fresh ingredients and fantastic, friendly service. We will be back many times!

House of Crabs

Love the good and really pleased to see the new environmentally friendly pots rather than plastic bags. Service is not great here. Last few times we have waited a long time to get served, to get someone to come take our drinks orders, to get the bill. It’s the only let down.

Three Blue Ducks Rosebery

Fantastic service from really friendly, knowledgeable staff. Attentive, but not annoyingly so. Delicious food, loved the prawns and the burata, and the steak is amazing. Great set-up in a cool space. Would love to come back to try the brunch menu.

The Theatre Bar at the End of The Wharf

Fantastic value with the 50% off food deal! Pork belly and bruschetta was excellent. Lovely and warm in the cold weather, and beautiful views. Ordering at the bar seems a bit strange but wasn't too bad. Definitely worth a visit.

Delicious as always! Very fast and attentive service, delicious food.

Swanson Hotel

Karly dined on Sat, 9th Apr 2016 (9)

Delicious tasting menu and excellent value with the 50% off special. Probably a bit overpriced if you went without the special as portions were quite small and you'd need to order an extra side or two. Good range of wines available and yummy cocktails, excellent friendly service. Quite the hidden gem upstairs from the pub!

House of Crabs

LOVE the food at House of Crabs, so yummy. Service last night was a bit lacking. The host waiter was lovely, but the waitresses weren't as friendly as usual. One of them brought us our bill when we still had a whole jug of beer left and had just told the waiter we would like to order some dessert. Will always come back here, food is fantastic and service is usually great.

The Stinking Bishops

So many cheeses to choose from, and all delicious. Great service, delicious wines. Loved our lunch here, will definitely go back.

Bondi Hardware

We had the eggs with shared sides, which was a fun idea. Avocado in the avo smash side was rock hard unfortunately. Eggs were perfect and the bacon was delish. Lucky we got there around 11 as they have judgemental breakfast hours (ends around 11.30). Fun atmosphere and great service. I'd go back for lunch and drinks to see what it's like at another time of day.

This place is amazing! Excellent food and great service. Definitely try the rib eye main and the cazuela dessert. AMAZING.

Riley St Garage

I love this place, but I'm pretty unimpressed with tonight's experience. Having been here before and loved it, I booked a table for dinner to show it off to friends visiting from interstate. On previous occasions we have just ordered off the menu, and been really happy with it. Tonight we decided on the tasting menu at $75 per head, thinking it would be easier and we would get a good selection of dishes. The food was so delicious, and the service was pretty good. What wasn't good was the amount of food we received. Despite ordering for 4, we received as much food as the people at the table of 2 near us. The individual items (oysters, scallops and chorizo corn dogs) were served 1 per person, but none of the other portions were increased from the standard menu. Before ordering the tasting menu we asked how much we should order for the table, and the waitress said some oysters, 3 each of the raw and the tasting items, 1-2 mains and 1-2 sides. She told us the mains are designed for 1 between 2 people. We received two tiny raw dishes, 2 small sharing dishes (1 scallop and 1 deep fried chorizo ball each), 1 main and 2 sides. The main we received was the pork knuckle, and we received 1 piece to share between 4 people. When the table of 4 next to us got their dessert plate for 4, it was pretty clear ours was for 2 because it was half the size. We left pretty hungry, having spent $300 on what we could have ordered off the menu for about $190. We raised it with the manager, who gave us some excuse about us not being given the right sized dish for the 2 raw courses, and gave us a $30 discount. He was very gracious about the whole thing, but it doesn't really make up for how dishonest the whole thing was. I love it so much here, but any future visits will be tarnished by tonight's events. Definitely go here, but do not bother with the tasting menu!

The Butler Potts Point

The staff were incredibly lovely, but not particularly attentive. We had a long wait between drinks and to get our bill, which was a bit disappointing. The place was packed with people, so they might need to put some more staff on.

Karly hasn't selected a top 10 yet.
