Madame Shanghai

Lisa dined on Sun, 18th Aug 2019 (8)

The food was lovely in general. We had the spring rolls, pork wontons and calamari to start. I found the duck for the pancakes a bit on the dry side. Would order something different next time.

Fratelli Fresh Darling Harbour

Darling Harbour

Lisa dined on Sun, 21st Jul 2019 (6)

This venue is nicely setup. I found the lamb ragu I had fairly average. My husbands pasta was undercooked. Probaby best for drinks and antipasto.

bills in bondi

Bondi Beach

Lisa dined on Wed, 17th Jul 2019 (7)

I was excited to bring a friend from out of town. The dishes were beautifully presented but my main lacked the flavour I had hoped for. The children were underwhelmed by the pasta with tomato sauce. The standout was the pavlova with rhubarb and pistachio.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. The pork ribs were super tasty and accompanied by a bowl of warm water and rib bib. We will definitely return.

The kids high tea was very delicious. There was a great selection of sweet and savory plus two drinks were included. A soft drink and hot chocolate.

Bondi Trattoria

Bondi Beach

Lisa dined on Sat, 9th Mar 2019 (9)

We had a lovely lunch at Bondi Trattoria. We shared the octopus as a starter. It was delicious. The pasta we had for mains (both with seafood) were excellent. All in all a lovely experience.

Delizioso at the Strand

Lisa dined on Tue, 22nd Jan 2019 (6)

I was a bit disappointed with our meal at Delizioso. The bruschetta was tasty and the oceana pizza was reasonable but overall I felt the menu was overpriced for the quality of food and service you received.

Billy Kwong

Potts Point

Lisa dined on Sun, 7th Oct 2018 (8)

I enjoyed my birthday lunch at Kylie Kwongs. We started with crispy prawn wontons and steamed pork buns. Both delicious. Unfortunately the specials with mark earher scallops and saskia beer pork were not available. We had the duck instead for mains. It was tasty however I wish there had been more duck on the plate. Would recommend if you enjoy chinese food.

We did enjoy our lunch at The Pantry. The chicken liver pate as a starter was delicious. The mains were a bit underwhelming but all in all it was an enjoyable experience.

A Tavola Bondi

Lisa dined on Mon, 18th Dec 2017 (8)

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at ATavola. We started with a beautiful entree of scallops with a cauliflower puree followed by papardelle with beef shin ragu. Very delicious. Next time I would request a table by the window as the spot we sat in was very busy with staff dashing by to/from tables.

Baccomatto Osteria

Surry Hills

Lisa dined on Sat, 18th Nov 2017 (8)

We have eaten here a few times and the food is always delicious. The pasta deal they offer for lunch is great value for money. The tiramisu is amazing and large enough for two to easily share.

The Cortile

Lisa dined on Sun, 12th Nov 2017 (8)

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our high tea at the Intercontinental. The selection of savoury and sweet was extensive. I particularly enjoyed the mini lamb pies and arancini balls as well as the mini lemon meringue pie and macarons. An experience highly recommended.

Lisa dined on Sat, 14th Oct 2017 (9)

We had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. we started with a chicken liver pate which was delicious. Both our beef mains were great. Eye fillet and beef brisket cooked to perfection. The Pavlova dessert was ok. Overall a great experience to recommend.

Roca Mexican Cantina & Tequila Bar

Lisa dined on Fri, 13th Oct 2017 (3)

The venue was set up more for groups than couples. the starter we had of ceviche was so strange tasting we decided to cut our losses and finish our meal at a thai restaurant up the road.

Summer Salt Restaurant

Lisa dined on Sat, 7th Oct 2017 (9)

We had a beautiful birthday lunch at Summer Salt. Things started well with a great table with a view followed by some lovely freshly made bread. Starters of salt and pepper squid and pork belly were excellent. Mains of salmon were delicious. My 9 year old daughter was made to feel very welcome. The only small disappointment were desserts which although looked amazing fell short on flavour.

Baccomatto Osteria

Surry Hills

Lisa dined on Sun, 19th Mar 2017 (10)

We loved our meal at Baccomatto. The caprese salad and beetroot arancini and cod croquette were perfect starters. My husband and I loved the pasta special of brisket ragu and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her meatballs and pasta. My only recommendation would be that a childs pasta serving is offered on the menu as the serve my 8 year old was quite large and more expensive than expected at $18 . Overall an amazing lunch experience and highly revommended.

Aqua Dining

Milsons Point

Lisa dined on Sat, 18th Feb 2017 (8)

The food at aqua dining was amazing particularly the linguine with mussels. The king fish was also stand out. Unfortunately we didnt get to enjoy the view as much as we had hoped as the rain covers were down the whole time we were there even though the afternoons storm had passed. A staff member had also said he would move us to the balcony for dessert so we could have a better view and this didn't occur. Because of this the experience was a bit disappointing as we definitely chose this restaurant due to its magnificent position by the harbour.

Graze MCA

Circular Quay

Lisa dined on Sat, 18th Feb 2017 (7)

Breakfast at Graze was enjoyable. The food we ate for breakfast was very filling and tasty. The view of the Quay was lovely with a cruise ship close by and the harbour bridge in the distance. Would recommend as a must do Sydney experience.

Baccomatto Osteria

Surry Hills

Lisa dined on Tue, 6th Sep 2016 (10)

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Baccomatto. We were there for an anniversary celebration and were not disappointed. The food in all three courses was delicious. I would highly recommend the wagyu bresaola of starters. My husband thought his beef rib was amazing, The tiramisu would have to be the best we have both tasted. Will certainly be returning to try the home made pasta. yum!!!

Georges Mediterranean Bar & Grill

Lisa dined on Sun, 22nd May 2016 (8)

The food was tasty. Very authentic Greek. We enjoyed deep fried squid, souvlaki and a rocket and pomegranate salad. The desserts were also lovely. We had the affogato and Greek Kataifi. Our only disappointment was that we weren't aware of the compulsory service charge so the bill was a bit more than expected.

Lisa dined on Sat, 20th Feb 2016 (8)

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch at Q Dining. The food was delicious and the atmosphere relaxed. The beef fillet with dauphinoise potato was cooked to perfection. Make sure you save room for dessert as the offering is excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my trinkets, with rocky road and meringue.

Lisa dined on Sat, 24th Oct 2015 (9)

We really enjoyed our meal at Akiba. The food was delicious. Stand outs were the beef short ribs and the king prawn fried rice. The drink selection was extensive and very enjoyable. We took our 7 year old to a 6.30pm sitting and felt very welcomed. The only negative thing I would say is that the service is super fast. So we were finished within in an hour. If you looking for somewhere to eat a meal slowly this probably isn't the place for you.

El Topo

Bondi Junction

Lisa dined on Wed, 7th Oct 2015 (7)

We enjoyed our time at El Topo. The atmosphere was fun and the drinks were yummy. The menu was varies with our main let down being that the food served was not hot enough. This especially spoiled my husbands meal of beef ribs. The desserts were delicious and for us the highlight of the meal

Jimbaran Restaurant

Lisa dined on Fri, 31st Jul 2015 (7)

The food at Jimbaran was very tasty. The prawn crackers are moreish. My daughter loved her meal of satay chicken followed by a delicious mango dessert. My beef rending was in a very tasty sauce. The restaurant ambience was a bit disappointing. It didn't give me the feeling of being in Bali.

Bitton Alexandria

Lisa dined on Thu, 9th Apr 2015 (7)

Our main meal was delicious. I had the duck. I was disappointed with our serving of bread with olive oil. It was not very generous and the bread was not soft. My dessert of bread and butter pudding was not hot enough.
