The Brisbane Hotel

Highgate

Gail dined on Fri, 14th Dec 2018 (10)

Great venue the staff are fantastic very friendly and helpful. I went twice in a week and couldn't fault the staff. The food is great and very reasonably priced. The only complaint is I thought the cider was a little expensive $11.80, although it is a big glass and lovely and cold. Either inside or out you should have a good time.

Little Lebanon Cafe & Restaurant

Osborne Park

Gail dined on Fri, 21st Sep 2018 (10)

I have been here numerous times and never been disappointed. The food is tasty and servings are generous. A popular family restaurant that caters well for children. Meals are reasonably priced. You can bring wine/beer and there is no corkage charge. Highly recommend.

Brika

Perth

Gail dined on Sat, 8th Sep 2018 (10)

A very popular restaurant, the service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. The food is great only problem is I ate so much no room for sweets. They looked amazing - next time.

Pappagallo

Leederville

Gail dined on Tue, 22nd May 2018 (8)

Service was very good. I had the Ravioli for a main it was very tasty but I thought a bit small for a main I was still hungry. Very popular restaurant with Italians so must be traditional food.

300 Acres

Have been here lots of times, the food is great, the servings are very generous. Great place for groups and families. No BYO charge. They have a belly dancer on the weekend.

Paprika Restaurant

Mount Hawthorn

Gail dined on Sat, 26th Aug 2017 (9)

This is a local Restaurant the food is really good and the servings are generous. In fact there was enough for two takeaway meals. Ordered the Samosas for starters and received 4 big ones with a lovely thick sauce $8.90. The wine was $32/bottle pretty standard price for Vasse Felix Classic White. The service was good the young girl had only been there a couple of months and she was really sweet. The only criticism we paid by cash and they didn't have change. Luckily we had the correct money so if you didn't have a card there could be a problem. Even a small float would be enough to keep for security reasons.

Duende

Leederville

Gail dined on Sat, 19th Aug 2017 (9)

Went with a friend for a catch up. We hadn't been before so weren't sure how much to order so asked the staff. We had plenty to eat so recommend asking if they think what you have ordered is enough. I had the house wine that was fine. The food was very great, wouldn't normally have whitebait but I enjoyed it. We went to the 6.30pm session you have to be out by 8.30pm which was plenty time to eat and talk. It is only small but the place was crowed and at 8,.30pm they were streaming in the door. Enjoy.

George's Meze

Subiaco

Gail dined on Sun, 25th Jun 2017 (10)

Second time to this Restaurant the food is excellent we had the Beef Cheeks they were amazing so tender and the sauce was beautiful. Service is always very good cannot fault it. Had a Ferguson Valley red wine very nice. Will be back again, my friend reckons it's her new favourite Restaurant.

The Terrace Hotel

Perth

Gail dined on Mon, 8th May 2017 (6)

First time to The Terrace Hotel, 3 of us had the steak which was lovely and tender. I thought meal was a bit overpriced for what you got, luckily we had the Entertainment Book. My friend had the Lamb Rump and she couldn't eat most of it because it was too rare. Staff should have asked how she wanted it, if it was going to come out rare. We all thought the staff were a little too serious, it does make a difference to your experience to have happy wait staff.

The Stables Bar

Perth CBD

Gail dined on Mon, 19th Dec 2016 (10)

The food is excellent, you could not fault the service they are very attentive. This is my second time here and I am happy to come again. We had a cabernet merlot wine at $40 bottle and it was excellent.

Floreat Hotel

Floreat

Gail dined on Mon, 9th May 2016 (8)

Had lunch with a friend the Steak Burger was lovely and tender. Had a glass of Cape Mentelle SBS I thought $12 glass was a little expensive don't mind paying $10 for a good wine. The venue is lovely, nice outdoor area for summer. The service was good.

RiverBank Estate

Caversham

Gail dined on Tue, 26th Apr 2016 (10)

This Restaurant was recommended by a friend, well we weren't disappointed it was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their meals and you couldn't fault the wine tasting or the service by Emma she was a delight. We had the Riverbank Shiraz you will not be disappointed it was very smooth. Would highly recommend this place.

George's Meze

Subiaco

Gail dined on Sun, 10th Apr 2016 (9)

The food was fantastic couldn't fault it. The service was good although we went on a Sunday for lunch so it was a bit quiet. Would be a nice atmosphere at night time with a group of people.

Dux Cafe Restaurant

Como

Gail dined on Sat, 19th Mar 2016 (6)

I thought the food was overpriced for what we received. Luckily we had the Entertainment Card so it brought it back to a reasonable price. The wine was lovely an unwooded chardonnay from Pemberton about $35.00. The service was great the girls were very attentive and friendly. It is only a small Restaurant and I found it noisy at times to hear our friends.

Galangal Thai Cuisine

Mount Hawthorn

Gail dined on Sat, 5th Mar 2016 (9)

Our neighbourhood gem, enjoy taking friends because I know the food and service will always be good, didn't disappoint!! Thanks Galangal.

Beaufort Local

Highgate

Gail dined on Sat, 27th Feb 2016 (7)

Couldn't fault the service the staff were lovely. Perhaps it was my choice but I found the Chicken Liver Entree Board a little sweet to my liking and some of the combinations I thought were more suitable for a cheese board. The main was a Walnut Linguini which I found a little rich. The wine list was expensive so we tried the house wine which was fine. The lighting is very low so take your glasses or you can use your mobile phone light the print is very small on the wine list.

Sentinel Bar and Grill

Perth

Gail dined on Fri, 5th Feb 2016 (8)

First time at Sentinel we had the eye fillet it was amazing so tender. The service was great couldn't fault it. The wine list was expensive would be nice to see a few cheaper bottles. Dim lighting and atmosphere was lovely, busy being a Friday night and late night shopping.

Galangal Thai Cuisine

Mount Hawthorn

Gail dined on Sat, 12th Dec 2015 (10)

Second time here this time with friends and they loved it. Bumped into 2 other friends that had seen the review in the paper for the Galangal and they came to see what it was all about - loved it too. The Pork Belly dish was to die for so fresh tasting.

Galangal Thai Cuisine

Mount Hawthorn

Gail dined on Thu, 12th Nov 2015 (10)

First time to the restaurant, we were very impressed with the restaurant decor, service and food. I think they have hit the nail on the head and it will be greatly received by Mt Hawthorn residents. As long as the prices do not get too expensive! Great being able to BYO wine only and the bar is there if required. Should be more of it at other restaurants. Well done.
