We enjoyed a really beautiful lunch for my wife's birthday. I would like to commend the restaurant for offering a non alcoholic pairing. This idea is genius and allowed my wife to feel more included as she does not drink. The service was excellent and the hotel and surrounds are stunning. Can't wait to come back.

We had a lovely meal here on saturday night. The service from the waiter(s) was excellent. We opted for entrees from the available specials that day. I had the red mullet with cous cous which was delicious and my wife had the equally delicious sardines. I opted for the ossobucco with polenta for my main course, which was really tasty and traditional. My wife had the gnocchi with lamb ragu which was excellent. For desserts, I had the apple pie which was amazing, my wife opted for the cannolo with coffee gelato. All I can say is that had dessert envy!! Scopri is a restaurant that lives up to its reviews, with fantastic food and service. I also appreciated the BYO option allowing me to bring on eof my favourite bottles with me. We will be back asap

It would have been nice to enjoy the bread and olive oil before our entree, unfortunately the entree arrived first. The smoked mackerel dish was nice which my partner enjoyed. I had the quail, which consisted of a single leg and cherries that had been cooked down. Unfortunately when I bit into the quail and cherry combination, I discovered a stone from the cherry had not been removed. My partner enjoyed the market fish, which was harpuka. I opted for the dry aged duck, which to be honest was nothing more than 2 slices of duck breast, which was barely warm and some crunchy carrots. I really enjoyed the wine, however the food is nothing memorable and could be so much better.

Berkshire Pig was not as good as I would have expected. The fat was not rendered down and the skin was undercooked as a result it was chewy and hard to cut. Previous visits the food was exceptional, so just a bad day in tbe kitchen on this occasion.

I really enjoyed the restaurant, though my partner's Hanger Steak was not a good as mine, therefore some inconsistencies with the quality/cut of meat. Service was ok, mostly let down by not removing dirty plates from the entree until the main course arrived
