On entry to the venue we were greeted with a nice warm lit restaurant, decorated in a modern yet rustic appearance. This compliments being on the beach front with birch wood finishes. The service staff were always warm, polite and professional. For entree we had the chargrilled octopus and the moreton bug. Both were excellent, except the octopus could have been a little warmer. The mains were ok, we had the woodfired chicken and the duck confit. Both were a little dry, and the sauce was a little bit too bland. For desert we both had the pistachio icecream with a chocolate fondant which was nice, but not amazing. The presentation of all the dishes were excellent. Overall we were satisfied and can say we enjoyed the evening.
