Really great food. By far one of the best fine dining experiences I've had in Sydney. Wasn't the best when we were seated right in between two other couples when the whole restaurant was pretty much empty when we arrived. Apart from that, excellent!

Really great Jap BBQ! Staff were friendly, food was amazing and atmosphere was nice. Definitely worth trying if you're in the mood for some JBBQ.

Spanish Tapas

Glebe

Really good food and EXCELLENT service! Only minutes after ordering did our food come out - presuming this was because we were one of the only ones in the restaurant. Great atmosphere and music set the ambiance of this place. Monday's are all you can eat Tapas and Pizza for $30. Haven't been myself, although will definitely be going soon!

Memento Lounge & Bistro

Sydney CBD

Raminda dined on Fri, 23rd Feb 2018 (9)

If you're ever looking for a quick bite to eat in the heart of the city - definitely worth dropping by here! Their lunch menu is quite extensive and only $15-20pp on average PLUS only an extra $2.50 for a beer! Large servings and quite tasty. Only thing is make sure you book because it does tend to fill up pretty quickly.

Meat District Co.

Darling Harbour

Meat District Co is no where near compared to Meat & Wine Co. For the price, quality and size of the meal, Meat District Co is well worth the money. It is easily comparable to Hurricanes - potentially more tastier and definitely cheaper! Also another plus is you get to dine with a view. For $40 you can order a ribs and burger combo which is the go to on my list. I eat quite a lot usually and this filled me up! Will be back again very soon!

El Camino Cantina

The Rocks

Raminda dined on Sat, 29th Jul 2017 (8)

Great atmosphere and vibes from this place. The staff are friendly and the cocktails are deadly. For $19 you can get yourself a massive glass of their tasty margarita's - and when I say massive, I mean massive. The food was good although the nacho's weren't up to my standard. As a mexican restaurant, I was expecting nachos to be authentic and flavorful, but I have personally had better nachos at a pub. All in all, it was a great dinner experience and the perfect atmosphere for a birthday dinner or just a catch up with some friends. Great vibes.

Thai Foon Harbourside

Darling Harbour

Raminda dined on Fri, 7th Jul 2017 (8)

With great views, this thai restaurant is great for a quick bite to eat before heading out in the city and enjoying Sydney nightlife. We headed over on a Friday for lunch with my work team (15 of us). We sent them our menu ahead of the booking and as we sat down, the entrees came out. It was quite impressive. The food was great, quality over quantity. Will definitely head back.

Mejico Pitt St CBD

Sydney CBD

Raminda dined on Fri, 16th Jun 2017 (9)

Really good food and atmosphere. We got the 'Deluxe Taste Me' menu - for $80pp it was well worth it. A total of 10 courses to share between the two of us was more than plenty. The flavours were amazing as well as the unique menu items (such as the watermelon salad). Really good experience, we will definitely be back if we're craving those tacos and grilled haloumi.

Coco Cubano Top Ryde

Ryde

Raminda dined on Sun, 21st May 2017 (8)

It was great to be back for Brunch at Coco Cubano. However, I think that day they were understaffed. It took quite some time for the food to arrive, let along for the coffee's we ordered to be made and served. Food was good, however they forgot to add bacon in the breakfast wrap which was a let down. My last visit was a better experience. I think next time we may try somewhere new. Although, don't get me wrong, the food is really good!! Worth a try if you're reading this.

Chefs Gallery Macquarie

Macquarie Park

Raminda dined on Thu, 27th Apr 2017 (7)

Overall, the food is amazing and the authenticity is a stand out compared to other Asian restaurants. However, one minor issue was the fact that we arrived at our booking less than 10 minutes late and were told that our table had been given to someone else, also proclaiming that they tried to call me although I had no missed calls from any number. Apart from this issue, everything else was really good. I loved the selection of beers - one from every (Asian) country. First restaurant I've been to in Sydney that sells Bintangs! Loved it. Would definitely go back again, but next time make sure I'm there on time.

Platia Greek Taverna

Ryde

Raminda dined on Wed, 19th Apr 2017 (8)

Really good first experience at Platia. The food was really authentic and flavorsome - as if we were eating from the Greek Islands. Imported Greek beer put the cherry on top. Friendly staff and decent service. There weren't that many people on the night we went but the food still took around 30-45 minutes to come out. That was the only downside, however the food was well worth the wait. Would recommend if you haven't really tried a Greek restaurant out.

Casa Ristorante Italiano

Darling Harbour

Raminda dined on Tue, 14th Feb 2017 (8)

I booked this restaurant based on their Valentine's Day menu ($85pp excl. drinks). A four course degustation consisting of: Oysters, Antipasto platter (meats were quite dry), 2 mains (Sirloin and Prawn Pizza) as well as 2 desserts (Chocolate Dome and Passion fruit meringue). The mains were really tasty, especially the slow cooked, medium rare sirloin with red win jus. The pizza was in the shape of a love heart which made the experience that bit more romantic. Overall, it is a great place with a decent view. Prices are reasonable considering you're on the harbour. If you're looking for somewhere to try and you're feeling like Italian. Go for it.

Spanish Tapas

Glebe

Raminda dined on Wed, 25th Jan 2017 (9)

Really nice spot and I've heard great things about the Friday and Saturday night live shows that are held whilst you're eating. Overall, food was great, service was decent. Paella was really tasty. Tapas are served in decent quantities. Could be slightly empty depending on what you order. But would definitely be back!

Marciano's Lindfield

Lindfield

Raminda dined on Wed, 28th Sep 2016 (9)

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. From the grey brick walls contrasted to the dark brown timber tables with the perfect glaze brought upon from the down lights; it was definitely a beautiful spectrum at night. The food was delicious. Generous serving size for the Pizzas, all freshly made on site and cooked perfectly in the woodfire oven. Perfect! Only downside was the service, bringing our Pizza without serving stands or a serving knife. But apart from that small criticism, the food came within minutes, even on a slightly busy night. Would definitely go back!

Alegrias Spanish Tapas

Balmain

Raminda dined on Sat, 17th Sep 2016 (10)

What a great night! My partner and I went on a Saturday night, and if i were you, try and book on a Saturday. There was a live Spanish band/dancers entertaining the crowd from around 8-10pm. The atmosphere was amazing, food was great however slightly overpriced but overall would definitely go back. Only criticism would have to be the Paella. We were looking forward to having an authentic Paella from an authentic Spanish restaurant, however we were quite disappointed. Serving size was decent however we would not be ordering the Paella again. Overall great for a night out and a change in cuisine.

Encasa Restaurant Pitt Street

Sydney CBD

Raminda dined on Fri, 5th Aug 2016 (9)

Great restaurant. Very small and cosy, but that gives the place a really nice atmosphere. Tapas was amazing and served in a decent portion. The Sangria was really good, one of the better Sangria's i have personally tasted. We thought we would give the pizza a try, even though we thought it was a Spanish restaurant - and yet again it did not disappoint. Perfect size for two people and made freshly in front of you using a woodfire oven. Would definitely recommend for those wanting to try something small and nice in the city one Friday night. Would recommend to book in advance though because the line was out the door when we came in and left one Friday evening.
