I enjoy good quality food (not always the fanciest but good cooking & concept) but more importantly good service. Nothing can spoil a meal faster than hopeless staff.

The alfresco dining may be trick if the weather is cold and windy. However, the good quality food and service made up for it.

The set menu was good value $68 per head and there was so much food with variety. It was fantastic fun!

The food was fresh and unusual, the hand cut noodles with abalone was delicious. The wood fire cooking was simple but provided great flavour to the fish and the cauliflower dish. Staff was nice and efficient. Highly recommended.

Ripples at Chowder Bay

The lunch was in conjunction with a Journeywalks' Chowder Bay walk. It was an informative & well prepared walking tour and followed by very good quality food & service. Well worth the money

The Malaya

Darling Harbour

Jacqueline dined on Fri, 5th Jan 2018 (9)

The food was very good and the service is excellent. The restaurant has a nice view to Darling Harbour/Maritime Museum. It is just a bit noisy to have a good chat with friends, otherwise excellent place to eat!

Lee Ho Fook

Melbourne CBD

We have drinks at their bar and the waiters are friendly then have dinner upstairs for a group of 6. The food was very good, and the staff are friendly and good with the amount of food we need. Overall, it is a nice place to have group dinner or just for couple. The restaurant is not too noisy so you can have a conversation with each other.

Good unusual food, friendly waiters without being intrusive. Knowledgeable sommelier that recommends good pairing wine with the food.
