Staff was attentive w endless water pouring (am still on DryJuly). Desserts were lovely. As for main, I had squid inked tonnarelli & spanned crab. For majority of population who love Italian foods, this wld be perfect amount of salt. For me, it’s a bit salty, esp when generous squid ink infused into very thin noodles of the size of tonnarelli. I had experimenting w squid ink cooking at home b4, at least 5-10 times w it. I found that squid ink has very high salt content & best when “diluted” w a larger pasta such as pappardelle & definitely more plain crab meat for me. Anyhow, food is all subjective so overall still a great dish. Thank you
Sophia dined on Sun, 4th Aug 2019 (10)
Professional attentive staff w endless sparkling water pouring (still on DryJuly). Loved the fresh sesame ring simits & claypot mushroom cheese etc - perfect for winter. Other dishes wld be better in summer. Thank you so much for the beautiful pistachio baklava- perfect to my liking- not too runny syrup, not too sugary, generous pistachio nuts, not too thickened w phyllo sheets, just right amount of butter Food & sweets generally have a subjective element to it. Recently we had 2 disappointing baklava at a different Turkish shop & a Lebanese resto. So Anason restores my love for pistachio baklava again. The best baklava I have had for a long time. Thank you again for the generous gesture.
Sophia dined on Fri, 2nd Aug 2019 (9)
Lovely duck pancake, limited dumpling sauces apart fr soy sauce. Bought ourselves a DryJuly Golden ticket 🎫 but sending tax invoice to your resto email address so that your accountant can claim 30% back - consider that as a small tip. Thank you
Sophia dined on Wed, 31st Jul 2019 (9)
2 Lovely genuine waitresses who liked to provide best service possible. Loved the perfectly grilled & tasty Spatchcock, let down by an average Spaghetti marinara. Overall gr8. Thank you
Sophia dined on Thu, 25th Jul 2019 (10)
Outstanding Staff - Kirat was professional & passionate about what her does. Love everything, generous portion & the takeaway was amazing as a late night snack. Lovely view of harbour. Thank you so much for a gr8 dinner. 11/10
Sophia dined on Wed, 24th Jul 2019 (10)
Byron & other staff were excellent & likeable. Lovely vibes. Loved all the dishes we ordered. However, wld love to see 1 poultry dish (any duck, quail, turkey, spatchcock or chicken etc) as my partner ONLY eats seafoods & poultry. I often “take the food personality” of whomever I happen to dine w at the time as I love sharing food & love feeding people. Every meal (b it home or resto), I like to get proteins from 1 meat + 1 seafood plus carbs fr whatever else. I eat anything, any cuisine but as I “take the food personality” of my partner when we dined last night, I ended up not ordering any red meat dishes for myself to try out as I don’t like eating anything in front of people who don’t eat it. Perhaps will try out beef, lamb, pork, or kangaroo w a friend who eats red meat next time. However, do hope U guys put in a poultry dish, for your other clients too. Still a 10/10 overall. Thank you
Sophia dined on Tue, 23rd Jul 2019 (9)
Lovely girl at the reception & attentive service this time. Food was good, esp scallops w shell i. Overall, soup & marinated meat were just a touch salty for our liking. But it’s understandable as the majority of the population eat lots more salt than my partner & I normally eat.
Sophia dined on Fri, 19th Jul 2019 (10)
Beautiful scenery & attentive staff were much appreciated. Sorry the tip did not make it up enuf for the Fork’s promotion. However it’s DryJuly CancerCouncil month so every bit will go up CC. Loved the shiitake dumplings & soft shell crab salad. However, braised abalone is not exactly “braised” as abalone was very rubbery (both of us could not bite the abalone into half but swallow it). Loved the garlic stalks & baby corn in the baby abalone dish. It’s all subjective really but personally I found that mature BIG abalone is best when being slow cooked (w pepper, garlic, coriander seed, hoi sin, coconut juice) whereas BABY abalone is tenderised when steamed. Wld love to see the exact same dish of high heat, w garlic stalk, baby corn chilli onion, EXCEPT that instead of throwing in raw baby abalone, perhaps quickly steamed baby abalone to tenderise it before throwing it in the wok. That way, ones can have the best of both worlds- wok taste & tenderised baby abalone.

Lovely vibe, outstanding staff, we loved the Ravioli & Prawn ceviche etc. Highly recommend this resto for its freshness of produce w strong HEALTH theme. While they r doing DryJuly, U can BYO or try out their healthy RANGE of teas. The Fork's discount make this resto THE BEST value out of anywhere we've been to. Pls try it out & make it up to their BEST VALUE food by donating its DryJuly mission: https://www.dryjuly.com/users/blue-oasis-by-chefin

Self served BBQ was perfect for a winter night, low markup wine which is gr8 value. However, service was slow & unorganised. Will be back to see if service wld improve further.
Sophia dined on Sat, 6th Jul 2019 (9)
Had a gr8 night, lovely view of Harbour by the warm heater. A few staff such as Assos was outstanding, while a pretty “backpacker lady” was not helpful ( she assumed what we JUST ordered 1 minute ago already cooked & could not be changed rather than checking w kitchen the way most trained staff wld do). Overall, food was lovely, especially stuffed battered zucchini flowers.
Sophia dined on Wed, 26th Jun 2019 (10)
My guests who split time btw HK & Sydney really enjoyed it. The whole team of waiting staff were very attentive. Thank you so much for a lovely lunch.
Sophia dined on Thu, 20th Jun 2019 (8)
Service was very slow but dishes were much better than it used to be some 5 yrs ago. Italian Egidio “Arévalo Ríos” waiter was outstanding in addressing the issues of slow service on red wine 🍷 right away.
Sophia dined on Thu, 13th Jun 2019 (10)
Excellent value, 💖 the food, gr8 view of habour, OUTSTANDING staff (both manager at reception & waiting staff were very likeable people). Thank you so much for a lovely evening. A++, 11/10!
Sophia dined on Mon, 10th Jun 2019 (10)
Been to this resto b4 a while ago but this was the best experience so far. Excellent value, outstanding staff, gr8 food... ❤️ the professional multicultural tean. Professional & beautiful lady at reception took us to our table, not quite window seats but the view was lovely. Our assigned Asian waitress was amazing- attentive & professional to all guests of her assigned tables w a beautiful smile. Portuguese chicken & skewed prawns were lovely. Beef was not as tenderised like previous visits but overall gr8 flavours. Only $5 per head for a public holiday surcharge which is excellent value for big group gathering on public holidays.
Sophia dined on Sun, 9th Jun 2019 (7)
Been to this resto of Lotus group a few times b4 since its early days which were always 10/10. However, this was the WORST experience ever. It’s a shame coz this place has a “1 of a kind” tranquil scenery. The dishes were lovely, BUT the sauces for dumplings were like the standard of a quick cheap Haymarket 饮茶 place w nothing other than Soy & Sriracha chilli sauce. I supposed it’s better than Golden Century Pyrmont charging extra for lemon! The waiting staff/ team was so unorganised. From the moment we walked in, the lady who took us to our table while holding bowls so that she could put them on another table, making this resto looks like the standard of a busy cheap Haymarket resto. Then a few waiting staff EITHER asked for the same thing (inefficient) OR waited 15 minute just to have the tea pots & wine. The simple thing the manager perhaps could do was to ASSIGN areas/ tables per waiting staff or something to look after clients and for accountability. A beautiful scenery of the Chinese Garden of Friendship like that is WASTED by the lack of organised skills making it so inefficient use of staff. Won’t be back in a hurry. I should not have left 6% tip!. Make up your mind of how U want your resto to be- beautiful scenery w Haymarket standard or beautiful scenery w Flower Drum’s standard?
Sophia dined on Wed, 22nd May 2019 (10)
Outstanding food & staff. Am not a regular here & yet ALL condiments presented together w dishes made me feel as if they knew exactly what I wanted. Not a fan of confined resto BUT this is a ONE of A KIND that it does not matter where it is, ones still want to find it. Wld b amazing if they consider having a sister resto in Sydney. Many thanx Flower Drum
Sophia dined on Mon, 20th May 2019 (10)
Prefer the food @ its sister in Double Bay but overall experience was lovely. Outstanding multicultural waitresses, 1 of the best team.
Sophia dined on Sun, 21st Apr 2019 (8)
Gr8 dumplings, attentive personalised A+ service. However, w overall vibe & scenery in the background, I prefer its sisters better- The Garden or Barangaroo Lotus.
Sophia dined on Sat, 20th Apr 2019 (10)
The ONLY Lotus flower in the crowded [at times muddy] “Sydney Yum Cha Pond” - ONE OF A KIND tranquil scenery, outstanding MULTICULTURAL team (not like your “homogeneous” East Ocean/Golden Century staff), fresh food & gr8 value. Menu @ night has much more varieties to choose from...
Sophia dined on Sat, 6th Apr 2019 (9)
Credit is given to the gr8 Chef who has to work w budget to produce THE cheapest seafood platter in the Darling Harbour area. Loved the long prawn sticks, can’t find it anywhere else! Thanks for the lovely garlic butter sauce too.
Sophia dined on Thu, 21st Mar 2019 (9)
If U love combo chilies & seafoods, then let the Malaya takes your taste buds travelling around Asia w their seafood banquet- from Thai/Viet to Malaysian/Singapore to China 四川, w FRESH Aust seafoods. This banquet was “oozed” w chili & seafood themes in many different styles- PUREED chili (seafood Thai/Viet lemongrass skewers, masak lemak Malaysian prawns, Singapore curry fish), FRESH chili (S&P scampi), DRIED chili (四川 eggplants/spinach) - all cooked to perfection! Pls note that they have many other beautiful dishes without chillies too... Would love to see more choices on Sauvignon Blanc.
Sophia dined on Sat, 16th Mar 2019 (9)
Lovely staff w outstanding customer service skills (eg, handling of mushroom spring rolls, subtly introduced garlic chilli jar etc). As for food, subjectively speaking, I 💕 The Gardens & Lotus Barangaroo better, in that they are a touch finer than 💃🏻上海丽人 or L Galleries.
Sophia dined on Sun, 10th Mar 2019 (10)

Sophia dined on Thu, 7th Mar 2019 (9)
Amazing staff, lovely waterfront view. Food was good but lack of that X factor- sashimi could have sliced thinner & oysters could have kept in a touch colder temp (eg, display on ice). Dimmi discount made it great value. Thank you.
Sophia dined on Sun, 17th Feb 2019 (9)
We had the Bosphorus set menu. Beautiful food w generous portions so we took home some. Personally, would prefer a little bit more more proteins & less carbs (regardless of good carbs of vegetable or refined carbs fr bread)

The LOTUS flower in “Barangaroo Pond”- outstanding multicultural team, refreshing food, etc

Sophia dined on Sun, 6th Jan 2019 (7)
Friendly & efficient staff. Good vibe @ balcony. Food: zucchini flowers were nice. However, stuffed mushrooms & spaghetti marinara reminded me of dishes at an average-priced buffet. Sorry but even a premium buffet can offer me a better spaghetti marinara that really smells & tastes seafood! It’s all personal but perhaps a smaller portion of spaghetti so that the seafood sauce can infuse into spaghetti better!
Sophia dined on Tue, 1st Jan 2019 (10)
Don’t judge this resto by its rating. Phomo is just as great, if not better, when cf to other restos w average 9 Dimmi scale. Great food, loved the scallop Tatare, taro spring roll etc. It’s 1 of the best value restos around Barangaroo area. We were happy to leave another 15% extra after factoring in 10% public holiday surcharge. Thank you so much for the generous extra lime & the lovely chillies. Will recommend to all our friends.
Sophia dined on Sat, 29th Dec 2018 (8)
Good food & service, good value. Located within a gambling avenue so it might not be an ideal atmosphere for everyone.
Sophia dined on Fri, 28th Dec 2018 (10)
Sorenzo is CONSISTENTLY 10/10 in every way. “Beautiful inside & out” is best to describe Sorenzo dishes, which go well w the lovely DH view & gr8 wine list. Moreover, their team is professional & efficient, especially Jason who has been an outstanding staff- polite, well presented, passionate about what he does etc.
Sophia dined on Mon, 24th Dec 2018 (10)
Food: slightly smaller portion than its old Flying Fish, BUT taste is definitely lots finer. A misunderstanding of EITHER John Dory OR Flounder (not both) saw us happily accepted both amazing fish dishes but no room left to try dessert. Personal favorites are Finger sandwiches & Morton bug Cavatelli. Service: Efficient & attentive team (including a couple of staff fr the old Balla, w Flying Fish & owner) has made Flying Fish the BEST resto in terms of service cf to Star other restos. Wine: extensive list w very reasonable markup, considering the high rental they have to pay for the location w waterfront view. Overall, the best of both world- old Balla & the old Flying Fish were blended together.
Sophia dined on Sun, 23rd Dec 2018 (10)
Despite the misunderstanding re pinenut san boy bau vs duck pancake, we were happy to accept the dish as either of them were always lovely. All other dishes such as duck, squid ink dumplings were nice (wld luv to see baby abalone dumplings on menu again!); extra fresh chilly asked were no Thai chillies but much appreciated for not charging. Sparking water were constantly poured this time also. 11/10 😄this time for being flexible allowing us staying at table to chat (only 2 extra drinks ordered) after the brunch b4 we moved to Smoke Bar. Thank you so much & Merry Xmas🌲 to all Lotus staff
Sophia dined on Sun, 16th Dec 2018 (9)
Cirrus has a beautiful waterfront view, & someday, there will be view of a classy 1Barangaroo Tower baby, which is still in its embryonic stage. John Dory, Roasted Prawns & homemade butter always to die for. Dessert menu was nowhere to be seen. I had been to this resto a few times b4, always 10/10. This time overall experience is more like 8/10 despite all my 3 friends still gave it a 10.
Sophia dined on Sun, 2nd Dec 2018 (9)
Food: duck & spinach dumplings there always to die for, baby snapper was good value. Personally, 四川 soft shell crab was the weakest link as I found Sichuan spice probably best to go w plain produce instead of a deep fried soft shell crab thickened w Sichuan spice (too heavy) while soft shell probably best as plain tempura. It’s all subjective taste really. Booked @1.30pm, arrived early @ 1.15 pm so had to sit on high chair. At 1.30 pm notified the staff, but not until 1.45pm that we were seated. 30 minutes on high chair is too long. Hence, impossible to give high rating for “service”, hence undertipped @ $22 despite staff was friendly.
Sophia dined on Sun, 25th Nov 2018 (9)
Practical glass walls & balcony upstairs definitely maximise the lovely waterfront view, loved the cozy atmosphere at balcony. Dishes were generally great 8/10, loved the chive prawns & scallop dumplings. However, SUBJECTIVELY speaking, a few minor details could have improved further, eg salt & pepper tofu would have tasted MUCH better if freshly-ground pepper instead of salt & MSG sprinkled. I don’t actually think MSG is harmful, just that it’s more palatable & addictive PERSONALLY w pepper rather than MSG. After all, it’s “salt & pepper” dishes ordered, NOT “salt & MSG” (tofu or squid/soft shell crab etc) Dimmi promo has made this resto incredible for food value. Considering high rental expenses at Barangaroo this restos have to pay, markup of wine seemed reasonable (Cloudy Bay SB $88)
Sophia dined on Sun, 18th Nov 2018 (8)
Dishes were generally great, especially toothfish w ginger, shallot & coriander/ cilandro - the way Kylie Kwong did her unforgettable steam fish some few yrs ago at Billy Kwong
Sophia dined on Fri, 16th Nov 2018 (10)
Loved everything, my partner also likes the owner, thank you for a lovely meal. Will recommend all our friends there.

The generous collaboration btw Dimmi & Sake has made SAKE the BEST resto in this area - “Double Bay, Half Pay” 👍🏾 for its GORGEOUS food (inside out); professional & polite staff (eg Emma & others); wine menu was cleverly selected (extensive but not overwhelming) Even without Dimmi discount, gr8 value for 8 course amakase w a variety of dishes prepared to perfection - oysters (Zn), stunning kingfish, salmon nigri (omega3) , scallops (P, B12), beef (Fe) etc & the BEST tenderised lobster tail tempura out of anywhere in Aust that made U say in your head “This resto is the ONLY place I’d prepare to ingest a tiny bit of Hg at times present in any “dragon” Lobster dishes out there” Would love to see a “Sarangaroo” ie Sake- Barangaroo as I believe Sake would do amazingly well at this new suburb
Sophia dined on Sun, 11th Nov 2018 (8)
Loved the name “Ester”, reminded me of the good old days of Chemistry lesson in my high school/ uni... if U like chargrilled taste in dishes, this resto is for U.
Sophia dined on Tue, 6th Nov 2018 (10)
Where else would ones want to end Melb Cup day but diner at Sorenzo?!Harbour view & friendly/ efficient service. Anyhow, Lots of shucked oysters & champage elsewhere during the afternoon made me worried I would not enjoy anymore food, YET Sorenzo dishes, especially mixed tempura w GIANT King Prawns really reminded me again why I love 💖 food here. “Beautiful inside & out” is best to describe Sorenzo dishes.
Sophia dined on Sun, 28th Oct 2018 (10)
Lovely waitresses w excellent service. While Phomo has known for its Phở & Bún bò Huế as ones would normally associated w Vietnamese cuisine, these days Phomo’s menu is extensive w a variety of seafoods to chose from, eg scallops, tuna, prawns & octopus. Loved everything from taro spring rolls to char grilled king 🍤, papaya salad, or black ink fried rice. Will introduce all our friends to this resto. Counter staff needs to be careful as I nearly left when the waitress told me “the gentleman already paid”. Luckily as my partner cane out from toilet, I asked my partner again if he paid which turned out to be a person of a different table.
Sophia dined on Sat, 27th Oct 2018 (9)
Dimmi 50% discount made the banquet unbelievably value for $. Flexible options of 3 set menus to chose fr where INDIVIDUAL guest can choose whatever set menu they like instead of having to eat the same banquet at the same table. Hence, ones get to try different dishes if sharing. Food quality was excellent w zucchini flowers were to die for. All other dishes were lovely too w generous portion size. Staff were attentive yet not intrusive. Highly recommend the banquets to anyone who loves cute presentation (basket of baby roots vegetable), gr8 taste & generous portion.
Sophia dined on Wed, 24th Oct 2018 (9)

Lobster tail tempura was definitely better than at Sokyo, 8 course omakase was definitely better quality & value than the salty Momofuku Seiobo & many other restos w set menu out there. Upon reflection, this lunch was on a public holiday w lots more number of staff rostered (compared to a recent visit on a Weds afternoon). Perhaps, to attract even more customers on a public holiday, management could have fewer staff on but 10% surcharge (instead of more staff on but 15%). Operating expenses essentially the same but psychologically speaking, diners tend to remember total bill & surcharge in assessing value to recommend to their friends/ family.
Sophia dined on Fri, 28th Sep 2018 (10)
Loved the staff, 💞the wine, loved the fresh JOHN DORY (stunningly done & not boring w ginger shallot coriander like most Chinese restos) & FLAT IRON STEAK (near perfect marbling of fat made it even better than wagyu!) Had the lovely parsnip sorbet & rosemary ice cream on previous visits. However, Would love to see a Dessert menu that says “Indulge me” (eg gâteau, Creme brûlée) instead of “Breakfast time” (yogurt, oat ). Clearly, dessert view is subjective & not reflecting the consensus view of other Cirrus diners. Thank you so much for the lovely complimentary salad (not our fault!). I hope we did make it up to Cirrus w “rounding up” slightly over 20% extra. Will recommend Cirrus to our friends.
Sophia dined on Sat, 22nd Sep 2018 (9)
My guests want ed to order $69pp banquet. However, due to min of 4 ppl requirement, it was $92 pp (69x4/3=23x4) which was still good 4 value, considering generous portion w plenty of variety. My 2 guests seemed to enjoy everything thoroughly. Duck pancake & wok fire beef were lovely. However, I felt overall the banquet was lacking that “X factor” which would linger in your head when u thought of food. Not a regular but been to Lotus at least 5 times since its inception, food had been always 10/10 when we ordered à la carte dishes. This time banquet was 8/10. Perhaps $99 banquet would have been a better choice for that “X factor”? I undertipped despite staff was gr8 overall, sparkling water could have served/ poured more often than just once. Overall, definitely recommend our friends
Sophia dined on Sun, 9th Sep 2018 (9)
All staff were great that day w Zoey stood out for her knowledge in wines. Some lovely dishes on their $85 banquet such as toothfish. However, I still don’t think food overall was as good as early days of opening (Eg temperature of oysters, removal of beef tartare/ wholemeal crackers) No surcharge on Sundays which is a good thing for diners who like to leave tips at their discretion.
Sophia dined on Tue, 4th Sep 2018 (10)
One of the best Indian meals I had for many months- food of Malabar’s standard at a fraction of the cost. Spacious yet cozy place w indoor/outdoor options. Been here a couple of times before but this was the best experience. Chefs on that Tue shift were 👌 perfect. From the addictive garlic mushroom naan bread to entrees & mains- all fine FRESH food w generous portion. Reception & waiting staff were genuine & lovely, in particular Yogesh went out of his way to introduce food after learning that my partner have had certain food intolerance. Will recommend this place to all our friends/acquaintances. Thank you again for providing such EXCELLENT VALUE & OUTSTANDING experience.
Sophia dined on Sun, 2nd Sep 2018 (10)
Welcome to Dimmi, Cirrus! Cirrus stands out for: 1. Its best corner location in Barangaroo- settings is “posh” compared to “ghetto” looks of a few restos on Wulugul Walk. Ones would imagine Cirrus has to pay higher rental expenses than other restos on either Wulugul W or Barangaroo Ave) 2. Consistently elegant & refined food (9/10 based on only 3 visits). Personal favourites were king prawns, grilled octopus, curry leaf salmon .... & their BUTTER :) that ones could only find in fine French restos. 3. What’s more? Professional/ outstanding staff like Aaron certainly has added a great vibe & value to Cirrus
Sophia dined on Sun, 19th Aug 2018 (9)
We had the 3 course $79 Leisurely Lunch. It was Lovely so Triple L! Overall: Staff/Service 8/10, Food 8/10, cocktails 9/10, VALUE:10/10... I enjoyed the cocktails. As for my partner, we were able to swap "free flowing" cocktails for 2 glasses Shiraz (not 3 glasses like we both thought we heard) so 3rd one was charged at $19.95. Made no difference 4 us as we would have rounded up SAME amount regardless (due to good value, substitution of red & no surcharge on Sunday). Staff seemed to appreciate the tips we left after I questioned 3 vs 2 glasses. Will recommend this 3 course “Triple L” to all my friends for excellent value, especially those who love cocktails.
Sophia dined on Fri, 10th Aug 2018 (9)
No.1 for Cozy & Unpretentious vibe/setting, this resto also cooked up an equally cozy 3 course truffle set menu. Their tap water w lemon infused really intensified the unpretentious nature. Well done for that.👍🏾 Beware: Their wood fired mushroom truffle was addictively sniffable! Loved it. Somehow I generally prefer SNIFFING truffles over actually eating it. I booked under Dimmi 50% (thank you Dimmi!) off so it represented gr8 values as truffle has always been an expensive ingredient everywhere. Would like to try their à la carte at some stage.
Sophia dined on Sun, 29th Jul 2018 (7)
10% surcharge on Sundays for a competitive area like Barangaroo is definitely a negative aspect for future reference of booking for a larger group. Multicultural team was great while food was average.
Sophia dined on Wed, 4th Jul 2018 (10)
The red Fiat Bambino is such an average looking car by itself IMO, & yet placing inside this resto actually complements their red logo of "Made in Italy", giving the resto a bit of a character. Food was definitely an 8/10 in both quality & quantity. Dimmi discount is on right now, but even if not, the price is very reasonable & it's certainly excellent for value. Subjectively, what made this resto a 10/10 in my eyes is its STAFF- Francesca "Ferrari" has exceptional customer service skills to go w her gorgeous smile (hence "Ferrari" is her new surname-kidding!) & friendly unassuming owner happened to sit nearby. These guys has made this VERY Fiat Bambino actually look even better than a Ferrari !!!
Sophia dined on Sat, 16th Jun 2018 (10)
"Beautiful inside & out" is best to describe Sorenzo dishes. Gorgeous presentation to go w the taste. From the zucchini flower tempura (as part of the mixed tempura) to the tenderised wagyu robatayaki, their dishes made us forget Socceroo was on soon!!! The staff members are well presented & friendly. Good selection of wines & sake catering different affordability. This is especially important if ones wanna to decide where to book for a big group who loves drinking!
Sophia dined on Thu, 14th Jun 2018 (7)
Food is good but flavours are not that spectacular. Not expecting a Nobu standard but we had much better valued teppanyaki elsewhere w similar standard.
Sophia dined on Mon, 11th Jun 2018 (8)
Friendly lovely staff. Very reasonable markup wines. Foods are Ok w excellent garlic mushroom naan bread to go w. Large place w outdoor & indoor settings, own toilets which can be great for group gathering.
Sophia dined on Sun, 10th Jun 2018 (9)
Lovely view of DH, highly recommend the Bento box, Crab tempura. Stunning foods, certainly better than both nearby well known Sokyo or Momofuku Seiobo in both views & food quality. Variety of choices for hot Sake. Surcharge of 10% on Sundays make it a less desirable than Barangaroo area for a larger group. Hence, overall 9.5/10 for Sundays & 10/10 for weekdays.
Sophia dined on Sun, 3rd Jun 2018 (8)
Lovely staff. Food was very good, esp wok fire chicken (w turmeric, lemon grass & basil), a touch salty 4 my taste but this is personal as most people eat more salty food than myself. Good value. Reasonable markup on wines.
Sophia dined on Thu, 31st May 2018 (6)
Waiting staff is excellent. Portion size is generous. Unfortunately food is average despite Spanish is 1 of my favourite cuisines.
Sophia dined on Sun, 20th May 2018 (9)
Staff is polite w gr8 work ethics & def a 10/10. Many thanks 2 Dimmi- also 10/10 :) w generous discount, making it the BEST value out of all Korean BBQ Restos in Sydney CBD. So great value we tried to make it up by leaving extra $20. Soju was lovely too & reasonable markup. Spicy Duck & wagyu were 10/10, highly recommended. The only drawback is the lack of seafoods (prawns/ squid) .
Sophia dined on Tue, 8th May 2018 (7)
Dimmi discount making it great 4 value, especially 4 those who can handle generous portion. Not the best Prawn Linguine I've ever had BUT it's still 1 of the better restos in Westfield. House Sauv Blanc is gr8 4 value & the lovely staff provides good eye contacts. The setting is clean & practical & perfect for when ones need to catch up some work during lunch.
Sophia dined on Sun, 6th May 2018 (10)
The 1st 10/10 I've ever rated for The Streets TSOB restos. Food quality is definitely a 9.5, up there w Sokyo & Toko SH. That extra special 10 is given to Fujisaki due to their most addictive & BEST wholegrain crackers I've ever tasted. Their sake menu is comprehensive w gr8 recommendation from staff for warm vs cold sake. As a package in terms of both quality & value, Fujisaki is a MUCH better choice than the overrated Momofuko, or even 1 of the best quality Jap restos- Their multicultural staff team is knowledgeable & attentive. They definitely deserve at least 10% extra tip.
Sophia dined on Sun, 29th Apr 2018 (9)
Situated amongst the gr8 restos in Barangaroo (this area resto said r mostly r 7.5-8/10 IMO), Anason stands out w its excellent food & professional well-communicated staff. Its food quality is definitely a 9-9.5 w freshly baked saj bread accompanying w lovely dips while grilled octopus is tenderised. Duck borek is OUTSTANDING & should be on menu for the forthcoming winter days where diners could enjoy this dish w glass of Shiraz or something. Walking away feeling a bit bad for undertipped the staff.. However, will make it up by recommending this resto for big group gatherings- friends, family or business...
Sophia dined on Sat, 21st Apr 2018 (8)
Food: Good use of fresh ginger in Kung bao dish, dumplings were average however. Wine: Reasonable markup, (Cloudy Bay SB $69) Attentive waiting staff who knew their menu well.
