Had a business working lunch there. They organised a booth for two of us so there was sufficient space to stretch out and work. Phenomenal modern Greek food with awesome vegetarian and vegan options. Great service - attentive without being intrusive. As the terminator says... I’ll be back!

Poor service on the day we attended - food was good and fresh, but not incredible. We had the set menu so you'd expect it to be their most outstanding dishes.

About 1821 Restaurant

1821 restaurant is located in the heart of Sydney CBD, with stately columns, high ceilings and expansive windows, creating a light and airy feel The restaurant has recently undergone a refresh, with interior designer Dimitris Economou returning to introduce a bar along the back wall to provide more seating for guests, modern furniture and a private chef’s table for 10 diners. In February 2019 the restaurant announced a collaboration between BlueFish Restaurants in Greece and the menu is curated by George Economidis, 1821 Executive Chef, and Luiza Gomes, 1821 Head Chef. This Modern Greek restaurant taps into the philosophy that everything is better shared, designed for big family dinners or birthday extravaganzas.
