Although we were 10 mins late to arrive, we waited for well over an hour for our meals since sitting, however the food was nice for the prices. Staff were friendly enough and worked flat out for a busy Sunday lunch service, although my perception was that the kitchen and floor staff were low in numbers and would have been more efficient with extra staff.
Hi Nathan, thanks so much for your feedback and our sincere apologies for the long wait time. We were definitely busier yesterday then we expected and wait times were way above our normal standard. Your comments have been passed onto management, we really hope to see you again.

I think they were having some issues with the new chief being absent with an injury.
Hi Larry, thanks so much for taking the time to leave your comments. With the absence of our new chef the kitchen has had to make some adjustments however please know we are doing everything we can to improve your overall experience. We have some great specials coming up so keep an eye out on social media.

As the weather had turned inclement the day before our booking, staff were brilliant in contacting us and offering us alternatives inside. This was very much appreciated. Food great and as we sat by the fire we were toasty warm. Thank you for a great lunch.
Dear Diner, your so very welcome and thank you so much for your wonderful review :)

We are a large group of Crafters, 16 ladies. A Tuesday MeetUp group booking/“checking-in” for our weekly breakfast morning together, . In a quiet restaurant where we were the ONLY customers all morning, until midday. It was really hard to find a quiet kitchen refer breakfast orders to a kiosk next door that served a paper wrapped egg & bacon roll & a cardboard coffee ! (This was the main reason that our “spend per person” was so low ! ) The restaurant opens from 10am BUT, it turns out, they only serve a breakfast on a weekend ! How hard could it possibly be to serve a basic breakfast, on china plates, as most venues do until 11:30am ? We had booked to come to a breakfast - the restaurant knew this in advance. We had been to this venue annually and previously enjoyed our sunny , yummy breakfasts on their patio over looking a stunning view while we crafted away. We loved going there. Now I am hard pressed to return. The restaurant bemoans the patronage that “fills their chairs” (direct quote) and has diminished their own service to such a degree that they found it difficult to welcome and attend to the business, and the business potential , our ladies were bringing in ! Shocking. What an attitude to adopt. Well, I am sure that this once appealing venue will crumble with these clear cracks that have appeared as the divide they have sought to create will become most significant indeed. No restaurant can really afford to cherry pick its clientele when placed at a public venue. I bought two bottles of bubbles, from their bar, for my crafting group in an effort to bridge the abrasive divide & chilly, unobliging, wintery reception. All business should be treated to the same service and receive the same welcome. We are not an inconvenience but a step towards your financial success in this fickle industry.
Hi Sandra, I am a little surprised with your review after our bookings manager had discussed with you previously by phone that we are no longer open during the week for breakfast. Hence why your booking was for 10am. Our kiosk offers full breakfast items with plated breakfasts with an array of options plus takeaway bacon and egg rolls for golfers heading out to the course. Our restaurant was open for your ladies at 10am to order coffee and cakes as you suggested to our bookings manager that this is what your guests would be wanting. My apologies if you felt the service was not up to our high standards. Thank you for your Thank You card and gift on the day.

The service was horrendous! We had to stand up to get a drink for our table and again to order food. No one checked on us for anything. I have sent an email to the Spices Group, but not sure if that will ever be addressed?
Dear Melissa, thanks you so much for taking the time to pass on your feedback. Our sincere apologies for the lack of service when you dined with us. I have emailed you personally and look forward to showing you great service and quality food for your next visit.
