Toppings on the pizza where limited given compared to the cost of pizza. Needed more meat ect. Waitress took drink which still had alcohol in it . Otherwise ok

The food and ambiance were great. We had a ridiculously long wait to be seated and were lined up out the door despite an early 6.30pm booking. The wait for drinks was also too long. Overall though, I would return for the food which, though expensive, was delicious.

Restaurant is very busy but service was alright. The staff keep on reminding us that the table only for 2 hours which we were told on the phone prior to arrival, on arrival then twice again during the meal. Table was too small and couldn't eat comfortably.

Took a while to be seated (we had booked) as they seamed to have taken a lot of different group bookings for 8pm at the same time. It then took more than 15 minutes for anyone to speak to us after being seated (so it was now 8:25) with out even a drinks order being taken). Food was hit and miss. some very good items, and some average. S&P squid was mediocre, meatballs and zucchini flowers were very good and the lasagne has the texture of and old boot, because it had be overcooked and dried out. The waiter we had was very happy to rectify the dud lasagne and individually she provided very good service (after the initial long wait).

Everything was really good. Great service and lovely food. We love going there. The only thing that i didn’t enjoy was that I felt it was abit noisy. The sound with a full house made it alittle unpleasant. The guys on the other table next to us were too loud.

Lovely food, would definitely go back. We just felt very rushed. I was told 3 times prior to the booking that we needed to be out by a certain time and then again on arrival our guests were told again we needed to leave by a certain time. Which is fine, I understand this, but we don’t need to be told this at every opportunity. We felt pushed to quickly pay the bill too.

The staff were absolutely lovely! They were really helpful and friendly. However, the Gnocchi my partner and I had was extremely overcooked and not worth the price.

The staff were all very nice and efficient. The interior was lovely and modern, and the dining room was not noisy at all. The food all looked and tasted great.

I found this restaurant for my wife and I to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We had a fantastic lunch and the Shiraz was excellent. Great service and attention to detail. Alex Mutiso

About the restaurant

Give us a pizza that!

The people of Adelaide have asked and the Gods have answered! Channelling an authentic Napoli pizzeria e cucina, 400 Gradi, or "400 Degrees" turns up the heat with its popular woodfired pizzas and other staple Italian dishes. Born across the border in Brunswick, Melbourne, and being awarded the Best Pizzeria of 2018, 400 Gradi is a must if you consider yourself a pizza lover.

If Margherita is too 'vanilla' for your liking, try the Calzone al Forno, a folded pizza with San Marzano tomato, fior di latte, mild salami, ricotta, prosciutto cotto & won't disappoint - the food does live up to the hype! Whatever you choose you're sure to get a great Italian fix at 400 gradi - each and every time you dine.

Best Dish: Gnocchi Di Luigi
