Service was pretty bad. Had to call waiters over each time we wanted anything. Waited a long time for service. Took a cake and when it was brought out, no knife was given to the birthday boy to cut the cake.

Great Food and Great Music but too loud and a conversation killer on Valentine's Day! Think the wine choice and prices are a bit steep however this is a place for Special occasions. Thanks

We’ve been a couple times to this restaurant the pizzas are traditional Italian style that’s why we enjoy returning back. They were busy with a baptism function today so when we arrived took a while to greet us we waited 5 mins or more. Once we were greeted it was nice and the waitress was very fast to serve us and take our orders.

Thank you team for your amazing service and food, will visit again. Loved the marshmallow cocktail designed by Pepe. Pizza and salad were both exceptional.

The food in gradi was excellent and so as the ambience. The classic 154 cheese pizza and gnocci are the must try ????. It is one of the best places in North to dine in.

Friendly service with no pressure to order quickly nor to pay up and leave when finished. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted great, and was served up quickly after ordering. I really enjoyed my meal here.

We got our entree and then waited 40mins for our main to which we had to ask for. No apologies were made when food finally arrived. Our water was not topped up we had to ask 3 times. Our plates were not cleared for over an hr. We were not asked how the service or food was when we paid. So disappointing. Has really gone down hill in the past 2 yrs. won’t be returning.

Main reason to dine here is the pizza. The dough was rubbery (classic mistake in pizza making) and the topping just acceptable. Not the quality one would expect, far from it.

Great food and pizza. Coffee was amazing. We had 2 entrees a pain pasta which was amazing and pizza. For dessert we had a Nutella calzone. Luckily we shared as it was quite large. A little pricier than other venues however well worth the extra $$. Wasn't too noisy so overall ticked all our boxes. A night out without the kids.

I can't recommend this restaurant, my barramundi was well cooked but the accompanying fennel was so tough as to be virtually inedible; also I wasn't told that no potatoes came with the main, so had to wait while these were ordered. The wines by the glass that we had were rather ordinary. Only 3 tables were occupied, which made the atmosphere somewhat sombre.

About the restaurant

The Italian Gods have delivered

The people of Melbourne have asked and the Gods have answered! Channelling an authentic Napoli pizzeria e cucina, 400 Gradi, or "400 Degrees". Turns up the heat with its popular woodfired pizzas and other staple Italian dishes. Perfect for any occasion, the vibe will always deliver a killer night!

If Margherita is too 'vanilla' for your liking, try the Calzone al Forno, a folded pizza with San Marzano tomato, fior di latte, mild salami, ricotta, prosciutto cotto & basil...it won't disappoint - the food does live up to the hype! Whatever you choose you're sure to get a great Italian fix at 400 gradi - each and every time you dine.

Best Dish: Gnocchi Di Luigi
