    The restaurant is nice however there's a lot of flies, I hope they are aware of that as it will affect the whole servicescape of the restaurant. The staff is polite and I felt comfortable with her serving.

    Was beautiful food, service was awesome, atmosphere was good till a table full of people came in and made a lot of noise! Not much the staff could do but did ruin the serenity a bit, will be back again though

    Tuborg beer is on the beer/wine list,but was not available on the night. One of the reasons we went to A HEREFORD was Tuborg on the list.Very disappointed. We all like Tuborg beer better than Carlsberg beer.

    Their steaks are exceptional and their staff is very accomodating of dietary requests where possible but there are no low carb side options available for included sides. Chips or nothing. Also, wasn't very impressed that I paid for a double rack of ribs and received one normal and one small sad rack.

    We ordered the less expensive dry aged steak for 2, which came with a serve of chips and 2 butters. The meat was nice and done to correct cooking temp of medium rare as asked, but it wasn’t warm or hot enough when served. I think they let it rest a little too long. As a result the meat didn’t taste as good as it could have. My partner wanted it a little less pink and asked the kitchen to sear her pieces a little which they obliged and the warmer meat was better.

A little slice of Scandinavia A Hereford Beefstouw restaurant was opened in Denmark over 40 years ago. Now a worldwide phenomenon, this specialist steak house combined with the finest of European cooking techniques can be found internationally and for fun, you can actually post your menu as a post card to anywhere in the world at the restaurant’s expense. A brilliant marketing ploy by a brilliant restaurant, the Scandinavian design of the place uses the most modern furnishings, European artwork and is enhanced by a casual yet smart ambience. Everything is of the highest quality- the steak knives, lights, tables- and naturally the food. The beef comes from a specialty farm near Lucindale in SA and the search for the first Australian version of this European success story was realised when the beautiful two story bluestone house in fashionable Hutt Street, just outside the CBD, was located. The beautiful relishes and condiments, the perfection of the beef- everything is pretty much a work of art. Great place for lunch or for dinner- ensure you book! Best Dish - try any steak!
