The food is great and the staff eager to please and warm to returning patrons. It seems the building landlord may not be aware of the bathroom issues which while not uncommon to old buildings at the beach do make using the amenities a risk for anyone with a mold allergy.

The worst experience ever. Firstly staff took 45min to get the dishes. I order 2 curries & 4 breads and the staff confirmed the order 2 times while placing. Eventually they got the food after very long wait with just 2 breads. And then after waiting 15min they got me third bread. The epitome was they made us wait for another 15 min after that and eventually just started apologising that the boy who took the order was new and got incorrect bread count. So rather then providing me the fourth bread they simply gave up! I had to leave behind half of what I order on my table as they literally stop serving the food and still had the audacity to charge me full for my order. My family along with my 2yr son literally walked out empty stomach after wasting 2hrs. Don't waste your time and money at this venue

Having gone there many times it's always fun to listen to people note how much the food exceeds their expectations. This is a great option for vegetarians and vegans who like to have options.....The staff are also very welcoming and there are many regulars.

Even after making a booking for dinner, they made us wait for 25 mins. Tables were arranged so close and conjusted. Order was taken after another waiting of 40 mins with no water provided (even after asking 2 times). We sat at 9 pm and the food arrived at 10:20 pm. They forgot the exact order as well. Momos came after checking 3 times and again they forgot about salad and drinks. Never visiting again.

Great food and service. Was a nice change to sit in to eat Indian instead of take away. I would recommend anybody in port Melbourne to try this place as all of the dishes we got tasted great!

We love Aagaman. It is our little "go to" restaurant. The staff are welcoming and so polite. The food is lovely with heaps to choose from. You can have a quick bite or linger over a glass of wine. Very quiet but also suitable for groups.
