As there were many people the food took 50 mins to arrive at the table. But once it arrived it was delicious!

Amazing food and generous quantities! We ordered the non veg platter as entree and got our flags down by the time we finished the platter. It was soooo much food. And amazingly yummy. We did order main course, but we couldn't eat more than half a bread and got the main course packed to be taken away. Awesome restaurant, yummy food, money well spent!

Was good 5 year ago. Now prices increased rapidly, expensive, less quantity, poor service . Not worth anymore coming here from Werribee.

I love this place. Being tucked into a corner near the drinks fridge and rubbish bin wasn’t ideal but otherwise another good experience at Aangan!

About Aangan

Follow the crowds to Aangan... Footsray’s Barkly Street bustles with Indian culture, from sari shops to spice sellers and Aangan is one of Melbourne’s top Indian dining destinations. Follow the crowds to Aangan and sink into a cushy, high-backed leather chair in the dining room and indulge in some truly authentic Indian cuisine. Try anything from the Delhi-style street food (we highly recommend the samosa chat - a crunchy samosa split and smothered in sweet yoghurt and tamarind sauce) or classic curries like lamb vindaloo and you’ll be in food heaven. This busy and bustling eatery has earnt a name for itself and is set to earn a special place in your heart - and stomachs too. Best dish: the samosa chat - a crunchy samosa split and smothered in sweet yoghurt and tamarind sauce
