Was very busy (as I understand it always is), we sat on the bar and felt a bit squished in like sardines at first, but got used to it, and kind of added to the atmosphere. Food was delicious, incredible flavours. Highlights were the eggplant & the labne. Unique wine list as well. We shared four plates (2 small & 2 large) between two people and we couldn't finish it all (much better value than the 'feed me' menu!)

We were a group of 6 and chose the "feed me" option. It was an abundance of food and it was incredibly tasty and varied. Everyone was very satisfied.

Africola is a fabulous dining experience. The food is creative and delicious, and the service friendly and professional. It is my ‘go to’ restaurant in Adelaide. Be sure to try the Tea Sandwich.

Loved the vibe and food, particularly the tongue! Also the wine recommendations were on point!

About Africola

Who’s up for a “supa hepi time”? Africola brings serious funk to Adelaide’s dining scene. The tasty North African cuisine, crafted by head chef, Duncan Welgemoed, is sure to lure you in so that you can experience mini flavour explosions with every bite. Enjoy African specialties of meat and vegetable dishes as well as breads, dips and pickles. (All the dips come with injera, a surprisingly delicious fermented flatbread you have to try). The peri peri chicken is also a standout, especially due to the “Mpumalanga fire,” a chilli sauce crafted from the Welgemoed family secret recipe. Africola’s funky vibe is complemented by an extensive list of Australian and imported South African wines. If you’re after something other than wine, try one of their unique cocktails or Africola's very own draft beer. What are you waiting for? A Hepi hepi time is waiting for you. Best dish: peri peri chicken
