North African food, a lot of flavours were new to me. Absolutely delicious. The chicken skin sandwich was great and I really enjoyed the flounder.

Africola was a fantastic experience, very popular and a good atmosphere. All of the food was interesting and unique but delicious. Servings were generous and the free delicious bread matched to the meal was a wonderful touch.

Great food, great service, some seating by the doors were a bit awkward/aircon and fans blowy. Overall would recommend to family and friends, will be back again!

Service was great and food was delicious! Only little issue was a dish came out with chilli which wasn’t mentioned on the menu so maybe confirm with staff if you want to be sure. Even though it is always busy they try hard to ensure you have a special night.

About Africola

Who’s up for a “supa hepi time”? Africola brings serious funk to Adelaide’s dining scene. The tasty North African cuisine, crafted by head chef, Duncan Welgemoed, is sure to lure you in so that you can experience mini flavour explosions with every bite. Enjoy African specialties of meat and vegetable dishes as well as breads, dips and pickles. (All the dips come with injera, a surprisingly delicious fermented flatbread you have to try). The peri peri chicken is also a standout, especially due to the “Mpumalanga fire,” a chilli sauce crafted from the Welgemoed family secret recipe. Africola’s funky vibe is complemented by an extensive list of Australian and imported South African wines. If you’re after something other than wine, try one of their unique cocktails or Africola's very own draft beer. What are you waiting for? A Hepi hepi time is waiting for you. Best dish: peri peri chicken
