About the restaurant
Aji Cafe Bar Kitchen is a convivial cafe, bar and kitchen serving Aji (pronounced R.G.) Café Bar Kitchen is a local family-owned business brought together by our love of fine food, wine and a passion for delicious coffee. Having Indian heritage and growing up in Japan the kids came up with the name Aji meaning “grandma” in Hindi and “flavour“ in Japanese.
We offer an extensive breakfast and lunch menu every day and now open for evenings three nights a week.
Our meals are always fresh, wholesome and often with a hint of spice to tantalise your taste buds. Our dinner menu features our house
speciality Nalini’s highly refined Indian curries. Taught by her grandmother, mother and 9 aunties Nalini has been perfecting her curry making skills for over 40 years. Our four chefs are in constant collaboration to keep our menu contemporary and to make sure there is something to delight every palette.
We offer a large vegan/vegetarian range with many of our dishes available in a gluten free option. And if you’re after something special in cocktails our star mixologist, Nick, creates his own concoctions with house infused spirits and freshly squeezed juices from our cold press juice press.
