This place is amazing, you have to go there! The food was delicious, traditional and the portions huge, so come hungry. The desserts to die for and the alcohols very unique. A very homely atmosphere with a great host/owner.
Thx for this nice opinion.Welcome

home cooked polish food - just like nanna's amazing service a little bit pricey though.

We were a party of 4 and we all enjoyed our mains. The pieroszki dessert however was a disappointment

About Alchemy Cafe Restaurant

The foodie elixir of life Alchemy is a cosy and unpretentious slice of Europe in the heart of Surry Hills and features some of Sydney’s only Polish dishes. Along with heavenly homemade cakes and fresh coffee, Alchemy boasts a more substantial menu filled with European classics like beef stroganoff, veal scaloppine and traditional radziwill (pork tenderloin stuffed with spinach and cheese in pink pepper sauce). Brekkie features an impressive list of pancakes and Polish sausages while evenings become more elegant, with soft jazz music and soothing candlelight. Alchemy is more than a restaurant; it’s an invitation to connect with Polish cuisine and hospitality – an opportunity to enjoy the food of Eastern Europe in a setting that feels a bit like your grandma’s dinner table. Best dish: Polish-style goose
