Great night it was a great meal great service a bit disappointed that the menu didn’t have more of the traditional Italian meals and wine Chianti but overall we where impressed and happy to come back ????????
The restaurant has a nice vibe about it, the setting along the beautiful Swan River on a warm night would tick all the boxes. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was on the disappointing side, the sourdough bread baked in the oven was promising until you bit into it, when you could find a piece to bite into without breaking a tooth it was great, what wasn’t great was the arrancini balls which came with some pesto and squid ink aoli this was horrible. . We had 4 different mains for our table, I had the barramundi which was cooked perfectly. . All proteins were cooked well the sides were disappointing. We decided not to have dessert.
We had a great evening of fabulous food, all dishes were fantastic & delicious & plated with flair. Service was friendly and polite. Good wine selection also. The service was proficient friendly and polite. Will definitely return.
Very friendly and attentive staff, prompt service, beautiful food and great atmosphere. I had the lamb rack and was one of the best meals I've had in a long time.
A really beautiful location wonderful staff and delicious food
We were sat outside at beside the river which was lovely. A bit chilly in the evening but they had heaters and were able to close the plastic curtains. The food was outstanding. It was reasonably priced for what you got too—we had a starter, entree and main each, plus 2-3 drinks each for $240. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was a little affected by the bar next door which was showing the rugby to a boisterous crowd. Would like to go back again when next in Perth.
Food was okay, unfortuantley the octopus and bread was overcooked and overall the food did not live up to the lofty heights of my previous experience. The wagyu beef was perfect. A bit of a let down, but I'm hoping it was just a one off.
The food and service was fantastic, couldnt have asked much more of the experience the views are great but being that it was night it didnt create too much of a nice setting.
Great food. Fish and chips was my fav.
Limited variety of dishes on menu. Usually a smaller menu allows for better quality meals but this was not the case at Amano. Restaurant was not even half full yet two orders of fish and chips arrived way over done. Batter was dark brown, almost burnt and not enjoyable. The kangaroo fillet was quite nice but was alone on the plate with no vegetables or side. Gnocchi was delicious. Semi-fredo had way too much bitter cocoa covering it and the pannacotta was the worst I've ever tasted. I might have been eating pot set yoghurt... Overall, quite a hit and miss, disappointing birthday meal.
Great service and food was amazing
Food was delicious as was the wine. Would definitely return!
Food was scrumptious - really delicious - service was friendly and efficient and prompt- view beautiful despite the stormy day but the atmosphere was warm. Will be back !
Amazing Italian restaurant. Arancini's and Octopus were lovely selections for starters. Done well. The mains, the gnocchi option (tomatoes) was really nice and gnocchi itself fluffy (proper style), the pork belly was done well, nice crispy crackle. Dessert the bomb alaska for a WOW presentation - tasted good too. Overall, comes well recommended.
We went late August early evening, sat inside, but were cold and left early. Unhappy that they wouldn't let us use the Entertainment Card, as well as birthday gift cards a friend had given us - two reasons for choosing this particular restaurant, so disappointed at the end, after a pleasant evening.
The service, atmosphere and food was amazing! Will be back very soon
Phenomenal staff and great food
I was very impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. The only detraction from the experience was the portion size, I'm not generally a stickler but come on guys - only 2 arancini balls and 3 scallops for $24 each? It wouldn't break the bank to up this to 3/4 and 5 respectively. My Wagyu beef was amazing, but again it was definitely a miserly portion and the sides weren't substantial. My wife walked away hungry so it's not just my subjective opinion. But please, I'd still recommend this place to anyone looking to try amazing food, just go in knowing you'll spend some dollars and it won't be pub proportion servings.
Great service. Food was nice but nothing special. Wine horrifically expensive. Lovely view over the river. Too expensive for what we got

Great food and impeccable service in a picturesque waterside setting, where traditional Italian flavours blend with finely crafted modern Australian dishes. Let your senses revel in this new experience.
