oyster entrée ordinary - tiny unimaginative oysters & 1 each. went out of my food comfort zone & really enjoyed the experience. tables very close together - I had neighbouring table accidentally spill water all over me.

It’s a good restaurant with quality food but there was no wow factor in the flavours necessarily and we didn’t think the tasting menu was good value. There seemed to be a couple of very light accessory dishes served under what was dubbed the 4 main style dishes so we were left hungry compared to tasting menus experienced at other similar restaurants.

Restaurant is quite small and tables so close together. The food and wine make it worth it though. Service was great for a busy Wednesday night, and the wait staff had time to recommend wine with my meal.

Not as much variety in the tapas section as we believed. Very fancy & sophisticated tapas menu. No chorizo or basic tapas dishes as we thought. Still a very lovely satisfying meal & ambience. We'll be going back.

We felt the menu was limited in scope and goat was tough & chewy, pork belly overly fatty ( knowing it is a fatty cut) A pretty ordinary experience

Taste Invasion Anada is a one-of-a-kind restaurant in the heart of Fitzroy. Not only do they do exotic food from parts of the world we can’t get to right now, they’ve also created their own sensuous fusion of flavours. This restaurant is run by the husband and wife team, Jesse and Vanessa Gerner whose travels have filled them with a passion for Mediterranean food. They created Anada for an excuse to give us Spanish and Andalucía cuisine infused with the flavours of northern Africa.
