The waiter's recommendations for wine were excellent, as were his attentiveness and pleasant manner. The food was excellent.

Dined here for my 4th Anniversary celebration. Parking was easy, just opposite the restaurant. A good start. We opted for the degustation 6 course meal. Very good flavours and playful textures. around 4 dishes had crushed hazelnuts for texture sprinkled on top - felt that was too repetitive, otherwise combination of favours was good, quite enjoyed it. Loved the sourdough complimentary bread. Good customer service and atmosphere. Would dine here again

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has a very good ambience. The tapas dishes were the highlights.

It was nice, but I felt quantities were small for the price. Food was good and enjoyed the evening. It did get rather noisy as night progressed which made it too hard to talk in group. This is when we left

About Anada

Taste Invasion Anada is a one-of-a-kind restaurant in the heart of Fitzroy. Not only do they do exotic food from parts of the world we can’t get to right now, they’ve also created their own sensuous fusion of flavours. This restaurant is run by the husband and wife team, Jesse and Vanessa Gerner whose travels have filled them with a passion for Mediterranean food. They created Anada for an excuse to give us Spanish and Andalucía cuisine infused with the flavours of northern Africa. The result is a menu full of tapas and raciones, share foods that make eating out with friends an absolute treat. This friendly style of dining, in combination with the bustling intimate setting, make for a warm dinner experience. If it’s your first time, go for the tasting menu, which shows off the best of what these chefs have to offer, including the traditional gazpacho (a rich tomato-based vegetable soup) and fresh grilled seafood selections. Anada’s unpretentious yet elegant dinner experience will be one to remember. Best dish: Confit Pork Belly with green asparagus with hazelnuts and queso manchego
