Excellent
Excellent food, view, and service. Highly recommend.
All the dishes were delicious especially the steak, literally the most tender meat I’ve eaten.
Started with the bread and houlloumi which was nice. Sadly octopus was an expensive disappointment, really burnt! Lamb was some the best we had. Service was great and consistent.
Great choice of food to share with our friends and family with a pleasant atmosphere in the bustling Barangaroo. No issues ordering additional dishes when we wanted to go around again and no rush to finish despite the supposed time slot of our book. Looking forward to a return visit in the not too distant future
So delicious and such a huge selection of vegetarian dishes. The lavender honey halloumi is extraordinary. Everything comes quickly and is great for sharing. Might have just become my new fave Barangaroo restaurant.
We came back here after enjoying a fabulous meal a few years ago. Unfortunately it has gone downhill since. The food is nice but not outstanding, and quite expensive for the quality. With the service, it felt like they were trying to free up your table ASAP while selling you as many drinks as they could, not a relaxed atmosphere at all.
Food is clean and fresh. Lovely flavours. Great service and friendly staff. Very accomodating to provide gluten free options for my partner. Sensible value for money
Awesome food. A tad on the pricy side and some of the side dishes should automatically come with bread or crackers. Very tasty and cocktails were great too.
Fantastic food. Excellent dishes which really celebrate the flavours of the ingredients. We mostly ordered vegetarian and seafood. The desserts were superb as well!
The food was amazing! We ordered 1) Roasted cauliflower, green harissa, leaves, roasted almonds; 2) Kingfish tartare, cigkofte spices, rice cracker, seaweed salt & 3) Yogurtlu kebap, 72 hour Wagyu tri-tip, Turkish croutons, Iskender sauce (SO AMAZING!!). We will definitely come back & try more food.
Fantastic Turkish cuisine experience.
The service is good but the food is .......
Great service and tasty food! Cocktail menu is interesting and good range of spirits. Warm, relaxed vibe. Our waiter recommended the prawns and we did not regret the extra order - delicious!
Each course good. We felt a little rushed by staff. Wine choices average
I decided to swing by for my birthday lunch and I must say - the food did not disappoint! The portion sizes were OK and I can see why the food was rated so highly! The only bit that concerned my friend a little was the lack of social distancing measures in place between tables so I would suggest that Anason look to enforce it better.
Had really good time
Food was lovely. And service was nice. great for a group dinner!
This is not my first visit to Anason, and it certainly won’t be my last. The food and service were first rate.
Wonderful atmosphere with beautifully presented food. The dishes are designed to share and are decent servings. A little on the pricey side but it is worth it for what you get. The service is also welcoming.
Amazing food. Great service. Highly recommended

Discover exotic Turkish flavours at Barangaroo
As a child growing up in Istanbul Somer Sivrioglu always wanted to be by the sea. Now, with Anason, located in Barangaroo, his childhood dream has come true. In this waterfront location Sivrioglu and his team of young Turkish chefs deliver a truly authentic Anatolian experience, serving the rich culture, colour, vibrancy and hospitality of Sivrioglu’s home city on a plate - all by the water. Given the setting the menu is more influenced by the sea that his first restaurant, Efendy but it’s part of this restaurant's charm. It’s different to what he’s done before. Modelled on the casual meyhanes and drinking bars of Turkey be transported to Sivrioglu's homeland for a truly wonderful dining experience. Welcoming everyone into his restaurant, not as a diner, but as a guest to his ‘home’, Sivrioglu has a seat at a table waiting for you.
