The ‘simit’ was not fresh and the lamb had really hard parts.

Service could be improved

Food was generally good - if not a little on the small side. Dishes are quite rich. Service was a little inconsistent - staff spoke a lot to each other

Will remain one of our fabourites

The food is yummy but just short of the wow factor. It is expensive and the portions will leave you hungry - making it unlikely for me to go back. The staff are extremely friendly and deliver great service. Foodies - the turkish delight log is quite sweet so you will need a big group to order this, and the salted yoghurt drink is exactly that - it's not sweetened.

Anason is amazing! The food was insanely delicious - try the salmon, eggplant and octopus dishes. I could eat the salmon forever! Dishes are all perfect for sharing. Can confirm that the baklava is one of the best in Sydney. Sitting outside at Barangaroo is also lovely, people watching as the sun sets. It got cold later but the heaters were warm.
