Waiter staff made great suggestions, were friendly yet professional. Fine dinning share food for 2 or more, but I think the atmosphere is for couples or small groups to share - not a typical big party venue.

Tasting plates are generous, perhaps even too much!

I've been a number of times to Anason and every time enjoy a very delicious food. Food is always fresh and tasty, although I found at times a bit heavy. Wonderful lunch spot in Barangaroo and one of the favourite among my friends.

It was a wet miserable day in Sydney but inside the restaurant the reception was very friendly and attentive. The wait staff were great and food came out in a quick fashion. After we ordered, the waiter told us we had ordered too much and to hold off on one of the mains. He wasn't wrong. The food was great. Will definitely be back.

It was a great experience. The share plates had great variety, were tasty and well presented. The serving sizes were quite small however and that was the only detractor. The Turkish Sav Blanc was fantastic.

About Anason

Discover exotic Turkish flavours at Barangaroo As a child growing up in Istanbul Somer Sivrioglu always wanted to be by the sea. Now, with Anason, located in Barangaroo, his childhood dream has come true. In this waterfront location Sivrioglu and his team of young Turkish chefs deliver a truly authentic Anatolian experience, serving the rich culture, colour, vibrancy and hospitality of Sivrioglu’s home city on a plate - all by the water.
