Somer Sivrioglu

In 2007, Somer opened his first restaurant, Efendy, in Sydney’s Balmain. In 2015, Somer co-authored his first cookbook, Anatolia: Adventures in Turkish Cooking, with David Dale.Somer opened his second restaurant, Anason, in Sydney’s Barangaroo harbourfront precinct in 2016. As a mark of his success, he is now one of the key judges on the new2018 MasterChef Turkey, a franchise of the international hit show.

On the lamb dish good be slightly bigger searving overall quite happy with a meal choices Prices on bread should be cheaper for what it is but bread in my opinion should be given with the meal free thank you

The food is awesome! The staff and the service is unbelievable. They remember us always put us at a great table and just overall act like friends. This is not just dining out th is a dining experience not tobe missed.

Food in this place is AMAZING. Everything I’ve had there in the few times I’ve been tasted superb. First few times I tried to get a table without a booking and it wasn’t possible, cause it’s always booked out. Try the spicy yoghurt for entree and the barramundi with grilled lettuce. The wagyu beef and the lamb also looked amazing but I haven’t tried, my friends LOVED them.

We had a wonderful lunch here, the service was absolutely first class, attentive and helpful describing the menu and the wine list. I wish I had asked our waiter's name as he was really special. My friend mentioned I had just had my birthday and he produced a beautiful 'Turkish mess' with meringue, pistachios and rosepetals with a sparkler! The Turkish wine was excellent too- The food is ideal to share so great for larger groups too and eating outdoors with a breeze was delightful.
