This was my second time to Anason. Excellent service and great recommendations by staff. The octopus is a must and Camel sausage is something unique that’s worth a try. It’s a place that’s better to go as a group as everything is quite small and the cost can really add up if there’re just two or three of you.

Thank you Anason for making our 10th wedding anniversary dinner so special. You gave us a great table, our waiter was fantastic, giving us recommendations and taking photos of us all night. The duty manager was also very friendly and helpful and came to the table several times to make sure everything was good. The food was amazing and so different with many great flavours. We had a fantastic pomegranate cocktail recommended by the duty manager and a great sav blanc to follow. They also surprised us with a stunning dessert, fruit, merengue, rose petals and a sparkler! At the end we discovered this is the sister restaurant of Efendi in Balmain , one of our favourites. We loved everything about Anason and thoroughly recommend it. Once again, a big thanks to the great staff, we will be back!!

Delicious food and excellent service. Wait staff is very helpful and attentive. I can see why families come back and everyone is greeted like old friends. Don’t miss out on the Tarama (white cod roe) and Kulbasti (Wagyu beef hanger so tasty that I forgot to take a photo!). Great sharing plates and informal catch up with loved ones!

The website did not advertise it was tapas so was a bit shocked to find this out. This ended up making the meal quite pricey which I was not intending for. However the waitress we were served by was friendly and it had a nice view of the harbour.
