It's always a pleasure to dine at Antiqvvm. Every aspect of your dining experience has been thoroughly thought out and is perfect. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Dishes look like beautiful works of art and often offer surprising and delicious flavour combinations. The recommended wines match the dishes spot on.

This is a Michelin star restaurant. And ensuring they remain at that level. Food service and ambiance was just as it should be. We had Menu and not a set menu. All dishes we beautifully prepared and presented. Not rushed. We shall be back and may be a recombination of a second star will happened.

Very high quality food in a great location with view of the river (although you don’t see much in dark winter due to view point). Starter and amuse Boucher exceptional as expected from such a place. Knowledgeable sommelier who put us at ease and great Portuguese wine selection (at all price points, not only expensive one).

Although some of the early "givings" were creative and delicious, we felt like the restaurant was "trying" to hard to perhaps be something it isn't.

This was a stunning experience. We were treated like royalty by the wait staff, the setting was magical and the food was beyond amazing -- we were offered three "amuse bouche"s that went to new levels of imaginative and delicious, the beet salad left a lasting impression and our two mains (veal steak and lemon pasta) were substantial, creative and flavourful without being "too much." with gratitude for an evening that will be in our memories for ages.

Overall a lovely experience. The view is breathtaking, and the service irreproachable. My partner and I had the vegetarian (organic) menu with wine pairings: the pairings were expertly done. As can sometimes happen with vegetarian menus, some dishes (esp. the buckwheat, spinach, and cabbage main) lacked a little in flavour. The desert and infusions at the end of the menu were delightful.

Three of us dined at Antiquum on Sept 19 2019. We chose the "Chef's Greeting" menu at E150 per person. The restaurant was very quiet and not fully booked for an 8.30pm sitting. We were seated at the back of the main room which meant that two of us faced a green curtain for the night. Our server was Diogu who was exceptional-attentive, explained each dish in detail in perfect English with humour and decorum-six stars, Diogu. If we return it will be because of you. It took a while for the service to get going, probably not the best with a 12 course degustation. We started with Chef's greetings, a cheese and a fish dish as amuse bouche-delightful, both. The four next courses, lobster, scallop, crawfish and sole were perfect. The meat not so. The black pork was chewy to the point of indigestible and the pigeon undercooked and saved only by a balsamic sauce. The desserts saved the evening. 3.5 hrs to serve was too long and E650 with tip was expensive. If we go back we will order from the main menu.

Great service, nice server. Gave us enough insight and very attentive (thanks Jose!). Food was great, unexpected likes and dislike. Only disliked one dish of the tasting due to saltiness. But everything was spectacular and just enough to say it's too much food and time for a nap.

A wonderful evening for our reunion dinner. We ate a la carte and two of our party who are vegetarian and gluten free were sympathetically looked after. Wonderful food and delightful staff at this top class restaurant. Thank you.

What a treat this was for our last night in Porto and Portugal. We have eaten in many fine restaurants and it’s clear that Antiqvvm is at the top of its game. Food was fantastic and service impeccable.

My first visit to Porto and I was very impressed by the hospitality and enthusiasm everybody showed to their city, produce and history. From arrival at the airport through to my hotel, tour guide of the Duoro River region and of course Restaurant Antiqvvm.
