Frederica and the team always make the night a great experience. Very enjoyable. Some of the best spritzes and negronis outside Italy!

Main meal was so disappointing. I had the lamb ragu pappardelle and I’m pretty sure they had frozen peas and carrot in the meal. The lamb was sparse and was not very nice.

About Aperitivo

The real deal Making pizza might seem like a simple proposition: you roll out some dough, slap on some sauce and toppings and throw it in an oven. Not so! Only four restaurants in Sydney are recognised by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana in Naples for making authentic versions of the world’s most popular food - and Aperitivo is one of them. So a visit here is incomplete without ordering one of their delicious, crispy-based house specialties. The margherita bufala is the best place to start, but you should also branch out and try one of the tasty variations such as the pizza with eggplant and ricotta salata or the diavoletto with hot salami. The menu at Aperitivo is vast, so if pizza is not your thing then rest assured you’ll have plenty of other options such as the grilled salmon with asparagus, gnocchi with osso buco and roasted sardines with capsicum. Wash it all down with a crisp glass of Prosecco and enjoy the knowledge that your dinner has been given an international stamp of approval. Best dish: tartufo pizza
