Lovely outdoor setting ; very good service ; quality menu choices and excellent food cooked and served. My issue was the Wednesday saxophonist who played so loud that it was impossible to hold a conversation with my dinner guest. He played on and on .. I asked the restaurant head of house gent to ask the saxophonist to play quieter but absolutely no reduction in volume happened. This spoilt the evening for me. Plus, outdoors in Portugal guests are allowed to smoke and the two men on a table adjacent to ours chain-smoked throughout the evening which we found quite repulsive and particularly irritated my son who really detests smoking

Restautant Aquarelle has a nice atmosphere, nice staff. The food is average, the house red wine a good choice. A place to visit, specially during Spring/Summer so that one can use the space outside.

Excellent restaurant - everything good about it. Food, service, ambience ....

As always Aquarelle did not disappoint. We had the menu of the day and because of the International Women's day, it was smelting special: Vol au vent with prawns, turbot with vegetables, steak with roquefort sauce and dessert was a choice form the a la carte menu. Great service, very attentive. Can highly recommend.

A quiet night in terms of numbers eating but the food was e celebrate. Me and my wife both had 3 courses and all were very nicely presented. The house white (Alentajo) was some of the best house wine I’ve ever tasted and would if back home expected to pay considerably more for anything similar. It was better than a lot of New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs which is normally our wine of choice.Miguel the manager and waiter was a real nice character telling us stories and making our evening all the more enjoyable. Well done and we will be back. Trevor and Julie Cope, UK...........and worth mentioning that they deducted 30% from the a la carte bill due to booking through the fork so well worth using the fork when booking restaurants

One of our favourite restaurants food is always great and the service is fab and staff are 1st class a must go restaurant not to expensive either well worth a visit

Took some new customers with us last night really good as usual and would recommend fish trio and double steak

Set lunch menu very nice, aubergine gratin starter then sea bass with mash/ vegetables and a white sauce. Small portions but enough. Very nice

Miguel at his best as usual with the two lovely girls very busy with french parties but food excellent as always and defo our favourite restaurant

First time but not the last. Excellent place. Wine recommended was spot on. Chocolate pudding delicious. Portuguese steak was in our top 10 in Portugal
