The River Queen Owners Matt Moran and Peter Sullivan’s award winning restaurants speak for themselves. Their ongoing passion exudes delight from every pore. The elegant white and timber trimmings arouses a relaxing nautical feel as you gaze across the water while sipping wine from our greatest Australian regions and around the globe. Situated perfectly on the Eagle Street pier, ARIA offers stunning views across Brisbane River and Story Bridge. If its quality food you’re after you have to keep in mind that these guys own their own property where they raise their own grain fed beef and lamb. With Matt Moran’s passion it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s out there feeding and patting them himself! This is the kind of joy that goes into every meal they produce like entrees of buffalo milk burrata and poached holmbrae chicken, to a smoked wagyu short rib or pan fried bass groper. The dessert menu is pure indulgence with some hidden surprises. Just let them match a wine with your meal – they really know their stuff! After your elite dining experience it’s recommended you take a stroll through the nearby cityscape or across the river to truly soak up the ARIA atmosphere. Superb. Best Dish: Kingfish
