Fabulous
We had booked using the fork, then had received a phone call 2 weeks later saying that we shouldn’t of been able to book New Years at the price we did ($150 per person) and instead they would re book is for $1400 per person which was way out of our budget. It’s poor from their end since they choose to use a secondary booking site so they should be well prepared when it comes to events such as NYE. Very disappointed and won’t even contemplate going there in the future.
Aria being almost my home away from home I am not the most appropriate candidate for a review. I love the place, the people and indeed the food. It is the way this team of incredible people make you feel as if you belong that makes me want to keep going back. Thank you Aria team! ????
The food was not bad but we expected it to be better. One of the sweet cocktails I had was really good. Nice view overlooking the Opera House. I asked for a window seat for a birthday celebration when I booked on The Fork however we had a table furthest away from the windows :( Staffs were polite however the overall service felt very very bland and cold. They all looked like they were literally just 'doing their job' with no emotions whatsoever. It was a Monday night, guess they were all recovering from the weekend. The restaurant felt quite dated. Think it's time for a refurbishment.
Exquisite food + wine! Amazing views! Seamless service! We will return ...
Really in general the service is top notch here with attention to detail. Food is great too but probably other good places in a similar range. Can’t really go wrong to impress.
Food and service was excellent
It’s a beautiful location but unfortunately the food doesn’t quite match the ambience. The staff are pleasant and presentation of the food is to a high standard . However the fish was overcooked and a bit salty and the fillet steak was slightly tough. I’m sure the produce being used is exceptional but I think it needs to be handled a bit more delicately.
Great view of opera house & Friendly, professional service by everyone at Aria. We had 2-course pre-theatre menu. Kicked off well with delicious amuse bouche of tuna sashimi on seaweed crisps and shiso peach! Highlight dishes were wild kingfish (main) and sweet potato (dessert), flavoursome and beautiful presentation. Highly recommended for a classy date night or family gatherings.
Great location ,food was good service was okay but brought the wrong food to the table which should not happen at a restaurant of this stature ,disappointing .
Food and service was amazing. Fine dining, but didn't feel stuffy at all. Great advice on wine selection, catered for our tastes and budget without prejudice. Great window table, not sure it was the absolute prime table as it was to the side a bit (booked 5 months in advance to guarantee the best table) but was probably a bit more private there, so no probs. Would definitely recommend trying Aria once, but for us we probably wouldn't return, as we're interstate and this was a special occasion, but really glad we went there.
Outstanding food, lovely service and a wonderful spot. Just very slow when we had the degustation. It's a long meal, but they just dragged it out way too much.
Good service, atmosphere. Great presentation of food, and excellent mix of flavours. Freshness of food is excellent. It was my wife birthday and they added a touch of birthday message to the dessert. One of the top fine dinning restaurants I have tried in my food tasting journey.
Incredible experience and amazing food. Highly recommend. Worth the price!
Delicious dinner
We tried 20th anniversary menu which is fantastic

About Every artist wants to leave their mark; to create a legacy that is not only remembered, but quintessentially theirs. Just as owners chef Matt Moran and Bruce Solomon have done at Aria. Their award winning, two hatted restaurant at Circular Quay, on the very edge of Sydney’s glistening harbour. Here the delicate touches, the time taken, the passion shown and the sincerity of delivery all play a part in the performance of fine dining. And it’s one we love performing in this intimate and breathtakingly elegant room. We’ve been composing this Aria since 1999, replicating it with refined purpose to elevate the senses with a signature dining experience like no other.
