Tables are small. We ordered the set menu. Food was slow and service very unattentive. Had to ask for a cup and cutlery for my guest. Time between enter and main was unacceptable. Very disappointing. Food was actually very good.

About the restaurant

A modern European-style bistro, Ash Street Cellar is a wine bar intimately tucked away in IVY. Tapas menu, classic café chairs, warm wooden décor and Parisian ‘plein air’ seating creates an ideal hideaway from the hustle and bustle of Sydney’s CBD.

Head Chef Jake Ahrens creates a selection of tapas to compliment the fabulous array of wines, from the ‘Grilled King Prawns’ (a favourite) to the Valhrona chocolate mousse, you will be transported to Europe,
