    Excellent restaurant, quality of food is really good. Service is not pretentious and welcoming. Good wine choices by the glass. Pretty flawless.

    The high ceiling and view to Darling Harbour is nice. Staff are friendly and professional. Overall setting is comfortable (but not the hard chairs). Food is ok.

    The restaurant is presented beautifully in a brand new hotel. Unfortunately the food was average lacking in flavour and did not warrant the price tags. There are much better french restaurants in Sydney at the same price point. A significant improvement in the food is needed to match the location, decoration and title.

    We had a good time at this restaurant. The food was nice. Ordered the duck and the bouillabaisse and they were perfect. The service was decent, though we felt service was slightly understaffed as we eventually gave up trying to get the attention of any wait staff for a spoon to go with my bouillabaisse. The special touch for our anniversary was a nice bonus too. Minor point, however we felt it was slightly rude for the wait staff to ask about how much tip we will be giving on the night, rather than asking if we would like to leave a tip. Overall pleasant experience and would recommend.

    I really enjoy atelier, this time it was alittle busier and waiters weren't as attentive as previous visits, but it looked like shortage of staff. Which is something they can't fix, but we had really nice young guy who explained what we ordered and food on menu. But the meal was fantastic we had the Co vin Chicken great to share for 2 ppl. And great selection of wine n drinks of course Gin & Tonic was fabulous with 4 pillars. Would definitely recommend its worth it the foods delicious and atmosphere is really ncie.

    My first time at Atelier @ Sofitel Darling habour was fantastic. The service is impeccable, waiters are very professional. We had a table by the window and stayed for close to four hours. Food wise, the spanner crab tart it is very refreshing and a decent sized entree, a must try! For mains we had the roast duck with waffle and beef tenderloin. The duck was cooked beautifully, I would suggest to pass on the tenderloin and try something else they do well. For dessert we had the waffle and muscovado ice cream, the waffle was very fresh and served warm with a nice ice cream. Overall, a wonderful venue for a catch up in a nice setting with water views.

    I really loved the starters that we chose - the smoked salmon carpaccio and spanner crab tart were beautifully presented and texturally sound. The duck main was cooked to perfection and the balance of flavours superb. My partner's lamb loin chop was a bit too black and burnt but otherwise good. Service was attentive and polite, would come back again!

    They sold out of the entree we wanted, how disappointing in a business with the high standard of food presentation to run out of a item at 7pm. We have to ask for bread to be presented. Waiting so long for bread. The main came out and it was the incorrect one ordered, so they have to re make the correct one, which upon delivery was way over cooked to our liking, this is very common from friends who have eaten at this establishment in the past. The chefs do not understand how to cook correctly. By looking around at other tables, food was being taken back to the kitchen. Meaning they have mixed up the order meals. Upon paying the bill for the night, they over charged the credit card surcharge. By getting the waiter to guess the 1.3%, which was added after without checking the correct amount. Very odd attempt to look good doing this. Overall this place is a hit and miss for fine dining, there are others within walking distance that offer better meals and far greater service.

    We ordered the steak and the kingfish for mains, chips and a crab entree. The entire was really nice and the steak was cooked well. However the sauce for the steak was plain as was the kingfish dish. The chips were also burnt. My friend also had to ask for condiments 3 times before any came. The place was very nice and had a great atmosphere!

    Really friendly and helpful staff . My husband & I are regularly customers . I had the duck for main and spanner crab tart for entree which are my favourites , But would love to see an update to the menu as it’s been the same items for least last 9 months.

    The food this time was not as nice as previously. The fish was overcooked and the bouillabaisse was very disappointing We had the madeleines which were lovely

    Wait staff was attentive, but perhaps asked too many times “how was everything” and couldn’t respond appropriately when feedback was given on a particular dish. Food met expectation but lack the wow factor. Considering the 50% off it was overall very good value.
