An absolute gem to find in Wollongong. Great ambience and decor and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Couldn’t fault the food, absolutely divine and the natural wine menu was extensive and wonderfully rich. My partner and I are vegan and the chef was more than happy to adjust the menu to meet our needs. Perfect place for a date night or a special occasion.

We ordered the $70pp Chef's Selection 4 course meal. Great food and i'm glad we chose it over a la carte. The drinks/wine list is extensive and they offer wine pairings. The wines are fairly expensive (don't expect a bottle under $45) and the cocktails were divine. Atmosphere is very intimate and the decor is very tasteful. Overall, I was very impressed and will definitely be returning!

The staff really know their stuff! Catered brilliantly for the table and special dietary requests. Perfect amount of food, timing of service, ambience, was spot on! Looking forward to our next Babyface experience already!

1PM – LATE Originally from New Zealand, Rob Burley, like many of our producers, has settled down and found his place in the wine world after working for a number of great like-minded producers. Having completed vintages in New Zealand, France and America it wasn’t until he moved to Australia and started to work with Bill Downie and Patrick Sullivan that the concept for Unkel was born. Rob is presently working with organic growers throughout Victoria, but primarily in Heathcote, where he is sourcing the Sangiovese and Vermentino. Always with the intention of finding his own vineyard to farm and produce wine from, the exciting news we can now reveal is that in 2019 he and his wife Kate are relocating back to New Zealand to grow their own grapes and make their own wines in Nelson. There he will join an exciting new group of organic growers. All of Rob’s new release will be here for you to sit back and relax too. This is an event not to be missed.
