Massimo Speroni

Massimo Speroni joined the Bacchus team direct from the 2 Michelin-starred restaurant San Domenico in Italy, working with owner-chef Valentino Marcattilii. After gaining experience in multiple Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide, Massimo travelled to Australia and worked for numerous leading Sydney Restaurants. After falling in love with SEQ during a restaurant opening, the offer to take the lead at one of Brisbane’s leading fine dining restaurants was exactly the position he was waiting for.

Most dishes were delicious. Crocodile tasted a bit fishy today but it was lovely on previous occasions. Good value at half price. Complementary foods between courses are amazing.

An excellent restaurant to catch up with friends. We were all into fine food, and although the menu was modest for a fine-food restaurant, the cooking and presentation was A1. We booked online for lunch and found that experience not so helpful. We had no online option to opt for the degustation menu, although that was apparently available. And the impression we got from the online booking was that we had a two-hour limit on our table. Turns out that was not true, and hence we had a slow wonderful 3-hour meal. And loved it.

Excellent service! I would say that currently, it was the best service i've had in any restaurant in Brisbane. Food was a delight as well! Would definitely come again! Special occasion or not!

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating, especially the nice young man working the bar on Saturday night the 3rd of August.
