Late lunch so noone else in the restaurant. Yummy food and big servings. I ordered too much!

A great feed. The banquet was absolutely amazing. The restaurant is licenced and has BYO Wine (not clear from the website). If this is true Afghani cuisine (I don't know) there should be no fighting in Afghanistan.

Tried to shove 6 of us on to two small tables claiming they were overbooked. One of the entrees had foreign particles in it. We ordered the banquet and got three small dishes with very little food. Such a shame as a previous visit was very nice.

The food is some of the best I have ever had without doubt. Service is impeccable and atmosphere was great.

Great food and service, quite noisy though so better for a quicker meal than a long stay catching up with people.

Amazing food amazing service! First time having Afghan cuisine and the waitress was very helpful in recommending which dish to order. Definitely will go back!

Our first taste of Afghan food and it was delicious. The service was fantastic; we arrived earlier than our booking but they were happy to seat us, we had someone arrive late & also a special dietary requirement and both were happily accommodated. We will definitely return.

About Bamiyan Restaurant - Braddon

5000 years of historical world flavour. Named after a city in Afghanistan, Bamiyan is a much loved neighbourhood eatery serving quality fare at more than reasonable prices. Think traditional Afghani tikka with lamb back strap pieces, Afghani dumplings, samosa, plates of meat, rice, naan bread and more! This is a wonderful mid week meal spot for the whole family or for a feast with friends. Best dish: Ashaak (Dumplings): Afghans favourite meal with chopped chives (Gandana) olive oil dumpling toppings with yogurt sauce, chick pea tomato and ground mince sauce and garnished with ground mint, served with salad.
