This is a great place in the heart of China Town. The service was excellent and the food to match. The Tom Yum soup was amazing by far the best I've tasted.
Delicious food! Generous portions and tasty cocktails that are all very reasonably priced with attentive staff. I would definitely eat here again.
Lovely to chat to the Thai waitress who was so helpful & knowledgeable about the menu. Super service and the best Thai food we have eaten since we arrived in Melbourne! We will definitely be visiting again!
Welcoming and friendly. The food and cocktails were sensational. The decor and atmosphere was stylish and lovely. We would go back in a heartbeat.
Hubby and I enjoyed the pad thai so much - very satisfying and good portion. Price is reasonable and service is good and quick. Place is nice and cozy.
Fantastic service, food was amazing, the Massamam curry is quite possibly the best I’ve ever eaten! Thankyou for a fantastic evening.
The food was very tasty and quite authentic compared to what I have eaten in Thailand. In particular the spicing was excellent. The service was prompt and very thoughtful including the offer of water for my Seeing Eye Dog puppy. I am sorry that I will have to wait six weeks to have another sit-down meal at Bangkok Jam!
Really good food and nice portions. The cocktails are original and delicious. Would come back again
We were welcomed straight away and shown to our seats. The food came quickly and every dish was delicious. The staff were extremely attentive and made ordering extra dishes easy.
The food...where do I begin. It’s been over an hour since I left the Bangkok Jam and I’m still salivating over the lingering aftertaste. Delicious. The vibe was cool, lots of people to make it fun but also great to have a conversation. Great for all ages. The staff were so humble and attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend. Thank you Bangkok Jam, this was such a great night!
First visit to Bangkok Jam. Great restaurant name, nice atmosphere and ambiance. Serving traditional and authentic Thai food in a modern and contemporary setting. When we first walked in we were greeted by the lovely staff and given an option to sit on the ground floor or the upper floor. We chose the upper floor and the set up was lovely. After ordering the food it was served promptly and hot, all the dishes had great serving potions, nice flavours and a good hit of chilli. Staff were very attentive and we recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting China Town in the city for Thai.
Great place to catch up with friends.
A tasty red duck curry with a good amount of heat. Service was attentive and the meal came within a few minutes.
We had a table upstairs. It was cosy. The food was tasty, the service was fast and the staff were very attentive. Love the restaurant setup with the couches. The food is reasonable priced.
We sat in the top level and had it all to ourselves which was great for our catch up. So we had a waiter to ourselves but this wasn’t as great as u would think. Very slow and overall the staff were not overly friendly which was a shame
Delicious food. Great portion sizes. Definitely try the massaman curry and the coconut icecream. Some of the best Thai food i've had in Melbourne
Excellent food, pleasant atmosphere. Experience let down by generally poor service and being rushed to order as kitchen closed at 8.30pm on a Sunday.
Good authentic food and excellent service, couldn’t fault Bangkok Jam. Tom Yam good, food portion was large, yet reasonably priced. Keep up the good work!
I would have like to have the Mango sticky rice dessert.
The dinner was a gift and a surprise booking. Our greeting was warm and we were given a lovely table for two upstairs. We had a superb cocktail and thought our meal was excellent.
