Bartolo was noisy but atmospheric. Very busy on arrival and it took a while for first drinks orders to be taken but settled well to a lovely night.
Great food and cocktails, friendly staff but a bit oblivious when we needed their attention.
Didn’t expect the afternoon would be that busy. Hence, it’s understandable that I had to wait for few minutes and asked the lady to get a menu. Tbh this is a little bit disappointing as the vibes there were great. The food was nice. Salad was fresh. Coffee was mediocre as the milk foam should be silkier. Anyway, I’d like to pay another visit when they r not busy????
Great food and good value ,we will be back to check out other dishes on the menu ----------------------------------------------------------------------
This little Italian restaurant in Surry Hills was an absolute gem of a find. Great ambiance, professional and friendly service, tasteful food and good variety of choice.
My first time there. I’ll certainly be going back.
Absolute gem if you like Italian food on the traditional side. But they are really really really good! We had Wagyu ragu rigatoni, snapper risotto, veal crumbed, tiramisu, and semifreddo. All equally excellent.
service is great. Food can be better considering the prices are at the higher side.
The foods was good, nice atmosphere and 50% off the food bill was great.
Authentic Southern Italian Cuisine and excellent service. Some less expensive wines would be appreciated.
Great customer customer and food.
The service was excellent and the staff very professional
Great location on crown street and a cool fitout. Cosy ambience for a chilly night! Really great service and yummy pasta. Lasagne was really good although a tad pricey. A lot of wine available by the glass and interesting cocktail list. Would definitely recommend and will revisit.
Wednesday half price Barolo is really a good deal! In general, food is alright too.
Was good, we didn't go all out and their cocktails look amazing but we didn't get any. Food was lovely, kinda small and didn't blow me away but was very nice.
Excellent service & very friendly staff, good food ..perfect setting for a good restraunt.
Amazing. Ordered the gnocchi and ragu. Both were absolute perfection. I've never had such soft melty gnocchi before! Ragu was delicate and buttery. Service was great, drinks were great. Can't wait to return.
Booked using the app for the Fork Festival promotion but restaurant did not confirm the booking even though it was made nearly 2 weeks ahead. On arrival no reservation had been noted and the offer was not honoured. Luckily still got a table. Very nice ambience and decor inside. But food could have been better for the price. Paid over $60 pp for some bread, one shared starter and a pasta each. Only one of us had an alcohol drink. Had the pasta special - a rabbit ragout. Flavour was ok but pasta was stodgy and ragout had a lot of bones throughout so had to be eaten quite carefully to avoid chipping my teeth. A bit of a let down. The warm house made foccacia was delightful.
Delicious great food tasted amazing
