$45 for high tea novelty should try, is it worth it for 2 sliders, desserts, chips, halloumi and chicken and beer? its bordering it, great idea, the beef burger was dry and needed more sauce, halloumi was bit dry, but overall good high tea that people will enjoy.

The place looks good, the staff are great and the menu variety is good. The food itself is pretty average for the price. I don’t understand how they can charge $26 for a burger, let alone a dry burger. The chips are great though but considering the burgers are $26 they can at least provide sauce for the chips.

Recommended by a friend for the Burger High Tea. Was delicious and was very filling! We were early to the booking and they were kind enough to accomodate our group early as it was raining and we had a baby in a pram. The food was delicious, the coffee was AMAZING and the staff were all really lovely and friendly.

The food was very underwhelming and overly salty. There was little to no service and no cutlery, napkins, water, side sauces ect available. Considering a 5% surcharge was applied due to it being a Saturday the lack of service was completely disappointing.

I enjoyed the burger high tea apart from the lemon tart which didn't taste quite right, but everything else was delicious. The young man behind the bar was fantastic but the young girl looked like she didn't want to be there and maybe it was her first day but she had no idea what was going on. I got a mojito that was super delicious but a bit exxy at $16.80.

B&B are using a new app ordering service that still required us to go and ask for help with drinks but they were coming out to us anyway to ask. The app process seemed a bit clunky still and while I can see how it works more easily for splitting bills, paying to use it seemed a bit misleading and then with a weekend surcharge. But the Burger High tea was delicious and as advertised.

The burgers were fantastic. The staff are friendly and we were looked after well. Outdoor seating with heaters which is great for winters. Overlooking the lake so cant complain of the beautiful views. The portion size is generous and I loved the grilled chicken burger. Definitely worth checking it out. Will go back again

Good pub style food - like a bit more healthy stuff pls! The fries and sweet potato fries were too good...ate them all. Vodka milkshakes? Just try one - they are great so long as its officially lunchtime....

Unfortunately, we were informed that there were issues with the kitchen 30 minutes into our order. Our order of 4 x burgers finally got served after an hour. I wouldn't call it a busy weekday night when arrived at 6:30pm as there were probably 4 other groups at the restaurant apart from us. Food wise, all burgers came with chips. I ordered the "Royale with Cheese" for $26. It was meant to come with: 155g Beef patty, cheddar, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, mustard mayo & tomato sauce. There were no onions or pickles but it came with some bacon and chorizo? The American and Cheddar cheese were hard (not melted) and there was very little sauce in the burger. Overall, it was a very dry burger. My wife's order of an "Uncle Sam" for $25 came without the bacon but she had the onion and pickle. Her cheese was melted but her beef patty was slightly undercook with the middle of the patty being slightly rare. The other two burgers, 'El Pedro', were ok, no complaints but nothing spectacular. I tried this place out for the first time under The Fork Festival's 50% promotion. However, this was a bit of a disappointment which does not reflect their current 4/5 star review on Google (from 473 reviews at time of posting). I'm hoping it was a one-off issue with the kitchen and I was just unfortunate enough to frequent the place on that very day. Having not been there before, I can't really compare. 4/10 rating provided as staff were really apologetic and informed us of the delay.

We had a lovely lunch at Beef & Barley. Six of us had the burger high tea and it was great! The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Was our first visit there but will definitely be back. Would definitely recommend!

We booked the burger high tea last minute, it was no issue with the staff. Set us up real quick, got our drinks to us and the food came shortly after. The Burger high tea is for real, chicken poppers, grilled halloumi cheese was seriously good, the pulled pork and beef sliders were awesome and the desserts were on point. Do yourself a favour, set aside some time on a Sunday arvo and treat yourself. We will be back.

While the food was great, the fact you had to order through and online system, which required downloading and app, which then charged not only a fee to that company but also another to the business was not ok. It added $20 to our already expensive bill. This ordering system should have been mentioned on making a reservation.

We had the burger high tea which was ok for the novelty factor. I can't complain about the serving size as there was more than enough for two. The pulled pork slider and sweets were nice however the beef slider didn't have much flavour and the fried food (chicken tenders and haloumi bites) was a bit overcooked and also not much flavour. Chips were OK.

Lovely restaurant with delicious food. Love the burger high tea, however would love an option to be able to get all beef burgers instead of pork as I didn’t enjoy these as much. A little fresh fruit with the dessert would also be delicious.

Great food, quick and easy ordering from phone at table. Accepts our doggy friends outside and even brought some dog treats for our pal! Couldn’t have enjoyed it more!
