It was great to get back to 'The Belg' and we were not disappointed. We settled on the small plates to share, the pommes frittes as good as always but my highlight was the onion rings with the smoky balsamic bbq dipping sauce. Staff were attentive and friendly. We're booking again for next week.
Fantastic food but the wait for it was far too long even though it was rather busy. The staff were lovely as were the drinks. Would definitely recommend, but not if you're in a hurry to eat.
Friendly welcome on arrival. Very good with my 6yo daughter. Prompt to take orders. Both steaks were cooked as requested. I would like to see a little salad with the kids meals. but I say this everywhere I go. Just a couple of cucumber and carrot sticks.
Decent sized meals for a reasonable price. Big beer selection , but best if you save up if you want more than a couple. Service was prompt and no mistakes made.
Busy for a Sunday but that’s to be expected diluting fringe. All the staff were very sweet and attentive and the food was timely and tasty. Best ribs I’ve ever had- will definitely get that again.
The food was sensational. Neither of us could finish our meals despite our best efforts. They serve my husbands favourite beer and the service was both friendly and quick. On such a busy night they thoroughly deserve 10/10.
Friendly service but I fine the food alittle too salty this time.
Love the Belgian Beer Cafe! I miss the Sydney one so much since it closed that I booked the one in Adelaide during our visit! Great beer selection obviously. Their 12 dollars lunch special that includes a Stella Artois beer is hard to beat! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Service is also very friendly!
Waited almost 1 hour and 10 minutes for food that could be best described as average. Restaurant was terribly understaffed. Appreciated the service recovery, however, our experience was far from enjoyable.
The friendly staff gave the best service only to be topped by the great food Would definitely recommend this place This won’t be the last time we visit Thank you for making a memorable night
The food was ok but not plenty. Some more fries or potatoes for the Schnitzels and the steak would have been nice. The wooden stand in which the potatoes fries where served was disgusting. Smeary, sticky and sauces and food rests from several other customers where on it.
We have been here regularly and have always been happy with food, service and cost. Great wine list too if you get too confused with the selection of beers.
Good quality pub food. Beer not cheap.
The portion is just perfect for 2 girls. I really love their mussels, look gorgeous and taste awesome. The brownie dessert is delicious as well. I also like the Floris Kriek beer, just like a fruit juice. You know, girls don’t like bitter ????
Had great service from the young Scottish lady who has only been in Adelaide for a few months. Some of the wines we wanted were not available but she offered a taste of others for us to find an alternative. Not very busy but meals were a bit slow to arrive which was disappointing. We both had the Salmon Meuniere and it was worth the wait. Salmon was cooked perfectly with crispy skin. Asparagus, broccoli and zucchini were also good. The wine and caper butter sauce finished it off. Will definitely be happy to return for another meal.
venue was easy to find but hard to park. Service was good & friendly but food let you down. Pasta was cold for all the serves ( 4) & it was lacking seasoning. the Pie was enjoyed by one client. Squid & belly pork salad tasted great but not enough for price.
Unbelievably noisy, waited 45 mins just for bread!. Waited over an hour for our meal. My patners was cold!! A guy on an adjacent table didn't get his meal at all, and when his seafood dinner finally arrived it was cold and not cooked !! We wont be going again, and we will not recomend
Great mussels as always
Cheery and buzzy when sitting outside on a balmy night.
Our meals were quite good however when the wait staff went through what was in the 'pasta of the day' they neglected to mention that it contained large chunks of chili, including seeds, which made the whole dish so hot and spicy that my daughter couldn't eat more than about a third of her meal, so this was disappointing.
