Every dish was delicious and serves were generous.
Went for lunch on Mother’s Day & enjoyed yummy food & relaxed atmosphere.
There was one other couple when we arrived in the restaurant which is quite large. 4 other people arrived a little later and there was one table of 4 in the front of the restaurant. I booked because I thought it would be booked out. It was a little weird eating in an empty restaurant.
I love this place. Beautiful food and friendly staff.
Nice Spanish style food but service was a bit too casual.
Went for dinner on a Sat night. Had a really good atmosphere & the food portions were generous. The service was very good as well. Will definitively go back.
Great food. Not noisy. Great service. Will come back again.
First time we had been and we were vert pleasantly surprise. Lovely little restaurant with great food and service. Would definitely go back.
Second time we have been there and really enjoyable with delicious food
I booked this place for my anniversary dinner but was very disappointed by the food. The only good part at the place was the service. We ordered different items from the tapas menu and 2 glasses of sparkling. The wine was decent but the food totally put us off. Comments per food item: Bad - 1. The bread and dips - one of the two dips had gone bad. It was sour. Total disaster for me when it comes to food. Never ever should a restaurant serve old stale food. Every item coming out of the kitchen should be tasted before serving to the customers 2. Crispy pork belly - was clearly double fried. The amount of oil in that dish was a total no no. I would expect freshly fried crispy pork belly, not something prepared earlier to be just fried again and served 3. Potato brava - potatoes not crispy the way they are meant to. I wouldn't be surprised if they were re -heated 4. Lamb cutlets - better compared to the rest of dishes but was dry and without much flavor. Not Spanish for sure. The dry meat suggested it wasn't fresh. But the good thing was that it wasn't too old. 5. The greens along the dishes - the leaves served on the sides of the dishes were surely not fresh. The condition we got them could be either because they were left out of fridge in warm conditions for at least a day. But if they were from a fridge, they must have been around a 4-5 days old. Good - 1. On pointing out to the staff about stale dip, they got us a fresh new plate of bread and dips. And insisted that we stay for that. That was nice of them. And that plate was the best thing we had to eat there. But we didn't go to a restaurant just to have bread and dips. Unless a place puts quality first, it's hard to survive in tough competition.
Very accomodating for big groups or families wanting to dine there. The food was ok.
Lovely people. Great setting No hurry
Perhaps it was one of those nights when the moon and stars were aligned in a plot against having a nice night out, or perhaps the staff were a bit jaded on the night, either way it was not a great experience despite the fact that we had been at Benson's before at lunch when it had been very pleasant at that time. So this time around service was a bit too laid back such that we needed to get their attention a couple of times to move things forward. Then after putting our order in, two of the mains were served at the same time as our entrees, ultimately putting us in a bit of predicament about starting to eat while two of our party still awaited their main meals. Unfortunately the wait was not worth it for one of our party as her duck risotto appeared to contain an unlisted spice, perhaps chilli, making it inedible for her. Even having it duly replaced did not lift the meal beyond its nice description in the menu - good on paper. So apart from the sequencing issues, our meals were a bit lacklustre and service could use a lift, but perhaps they might be better on another night........perhaps already improved? But we shall think long and hard about returning to find out.
I don't come here enough but I do like it. Easy to get to from my place and a safe bet with the bet with a spanish influence. I do recommend this place. They are now getting more competition with more restaurants opening.
Great service and food.
Fourth time I've been. As usual the food and service was top notch. would highly recommend!
Loved it and will be back again soon.
I love this place. Beautiful food and wonderful service.
