Excellent
The tasting menu was great – it showcased a wide variety of ingredients, flavours and cooking styles. The snacks were interesting, the main rump camp with the bone marrow toast were fantastic, and the desserts were delightful. The service was a hit or miss unfortunately. There was a waiter who tarnished my dining experience quite a bit as he seemed disinterested and fed up. He didn't really bother introducing the dishes and was already half turning/walking away as he VERY briefly introduced each dish – he basically said what was stated on the menu (or less than what was written on the menu if I'm being honest). It's unfortunate that half of my courses were served by him. Thankfully, the final waiter who brought out the petit fours was a delight to talk to and to be served by. The main waitress of the night was also wonderful, who also thankfully served a couple of my courses and offered explanations of the other dishes I inquired about (as the other waiter didn't bother to when he served them to me). Overall, I did enjoy Bentley but it would've be a splendid night without the disappointing service from one of the waiters.
Really nice atmosphere! Excellent service, the staff helped us cloak extra items to make the dinner more enjoyable. Came here for Fork Festival (30% off set menus) which was a good deal. With a drink and some sides alongside the 2 course came to about $100pp. I enjoyed the tuna entrée, but didn't love the mackerel main or the duck. Nevertheless still a good experience.
Delicious food!! The entrees we’re faultless, we loved them so much! The mains were even better the rump cap was to die for, and to end the night the desserts we’re on point. Me and my partner also ordered some cocktails off the menu and every one we ordered was exciting and tasted nice. The service was really good, and the mood was nice and dark perfect for date night! Have recommended all my friends to come here! Thank you for the amazing night!
The food was outstanding especially the yellowtail tuna, the rangers valley rump and the pork. The wine selection is very good from across the world.Service was a little slow to start and room lighting was very dim. Food remains the highlight.
Four of us had a great gathering last night. Enjoyed all dishes as well as service.
Service was exemplary, wine list legendary; menu was exciting and innovative > altogether a very convivial night indeed. Only teensy-weensy niggle? A tad too moody in ambience!
excellent food and service as always - cant wait to come back!!! we loved the murray cod and lamb dish... thanks for being so helpful and making toms bday extra special
Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere, food portion quite small but filling and flavorsome, not really worth the money but good overall experience!
Thank you for a delicious meal and the top-notched service. Highly recommended!
Restaurant a little too dark for my likings - i find 'dark' sad and not condusive to fine dining. Main course was not hot enough - just luke warm - But food was delicious.
Everything is excellent! The food, the vibe and the service! We had a really good and relaxing night and we will definitely come back next time to try other dishes!
Amazing service and great food. Desserts were a bit too adventurous for my liking though.
Food was amazing, we did the degustation or tasting menu! Perfect amount of food and delicious - Staff were attentive friendly and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere with a busy vibe. LOVED IT
Food was good but not amazing / memorable, apart from the blood plum dessert! Atmosphere was a bit too bar like and a bit cold. Overall good experience for a special occasion
Very disappointing options as a vegetarian. I feel that I’ve just paid hundreds of dollars for lettuce? Nice bar. Good service. Good wine. That’s where it ended.
Great food and service
Faultless! An absolutely fantastic restaurant for a special occasion. Would definitely return. Exceptional food, service and atmosphere.
The bar food menu alone puts most hatted restaurants to shame. The open kitchen is also a welcome visual distraction if your date's a bit minging.
Food was fantastic. The staff were incredibly well versed and served with bubbly attitudes.
The food was delicious and the service phenomenal. My only criticism is the portion sizes of some of the tasting menu dishes were a little too large! Made it difficult to finish them

The Bentley was opened in March 2006 by Chef Brent Savage and Sommelier Nick Hildebrandt in a former pub in Surry Hills. It was a new kind of restaurant for Sydney – one where the food could challenge and inspire you, but in a relaxed atmosphere where you could find an eclectic list of wines not offered anywhere else.
With Brent’s flavoursome food and Nick’s love of introducing customers to wines by international boutique producers, the Bentley quickly earned a reputation for leading diners to some new and exciting places. The vision paid off and Bentley was named ‘Best New Restaurant’ at the Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide Awards, as well as earning two Chef’s hats and a coveted wine glass, which it has retained ever since.
