Chef of the year 2018 winner in gault & millau australia, Brian has worked at some of Australia’s leading restaurants including the three-hatted Bilson's, where he was chef de cuisine and executive sous chef, Sean Connolly’s astral, and three-hatted Quay. His career includes cooking at Lindsay House and Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud in Dublin, and london’s two-michelin-starred Pied à Terre under expat aussie chef Shane Osborn. He has also undertaken stage positions at l’astrance in Paris and per se and WD-50 in New York.

    What an amazing experience! Service is friendly and top notch from the moment the boat picks you up to take you to the restaurant. The food is exceptional, high quality and beautifully presented. Great Australian wine list. This is a once in a lifetime kind of restaurant experience you will go back to.

    Great place to while away a Sunday afternoon sampling new taste sensations. Location is picturesque on the banks of Berowra Creek even on a rainy day, with a private ferry pick up from the public wharf. Highly recommend.

    Amazing food,but the white wine was not cold enough, I was told it was 12 C,from the wine fridge, I have a wine fridge and I know that temperature is not cold enough for white wine,We go to many fine restaurants and I have not had white wine at that temperature.We asked for ice but the ice was to big to fit into the glass also the wine order was not taken until after the first food was served.The couple at the next table had the same problem . It still was a great lunch.

    The staff were very attentive and nice, the food and views were amazing. Definitely go for the 9 course menu, absolutely loved the crab custard.

    The location, service and food quality was wonderful. I definitely had a problem with the quantity. $165 got a 6 course degustation menu with no other menu options except to spend more on 9 courses. I’m a small eater and I left still very hungry and can’t imagine what the average/large eater would think. Anyway I can think of better ways to spend $500

    The restaurant was beautiful and the food was magnificent. Our party of 6 thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We will be back for sure.

    Incredible restaurant with amazing views and unique welcome. Food was very delicious. Service started out brilliant while we were one of the first people there, but once the restaurant started to fill up even asking to see the wine list again took ages and a couple of reminders. Overall , was a fantastic experience, but for the price I would have hoped to be full by the end of the 6 courses but I wasn't. Even so, I'd still strongly recommend

    Awesome food, first time that my husband has tried degustation and he absolutely loved it. They catered for me as I am 7 months pregnant and everything tastes amazing. The crab and miso and tooheys old dessert were the best!

Combining internationally awarded architecture with stunning cuisine and an exceptional wine collection in its unrivalled location, Berowra Waters Inn is a place where experiences become life-long memories. Irish born chef, Brian Geraghty has reinterpreted the traditional ‘degustation menu’ concept and has crafted a menu of smaller dishes.
