Jordan Toft

Jordan’s career began in the Sydney Opera House kitchen in 1997. Moving to Europe in 2006, Jordan ran a luxury chalet in France and became a personal chef. Travelling Europe and the USA, he developed an appreciation for the simplest and freshest ingredients. In 2014 Jordan joined Merivale as executive chef of Coogee Pavilion. Jordan then joined The Newport team, led the launch of Bert’s and The Collaroy, all a reflection of Jordan’s talent for balancing refinement, simplicity and innovation.

The venue was amazing and so relaxing. We spent hours there after enjoying a lovely lunch we progressed to the bar for more cocktails.

We had a fabulous New Year’s Day lunch here. What a gorgeous restaurant with comfy couches and chairs looking out over Pitwater, and then you move on to your table for a feast of food. Juicy fresh oysters on ice, gorgeous pasta’s. Super fresh seafood and perfectly cooked steak. Oh - and the perfect broccoli and potatoes. Service was perfect, wine and cocktail list extensive.

Fantastic night with old school friends. Had been here previously and convinced our group to do our annual gathering at Bert's which is a little far for some. Well worth the trip with beautiful food, great drinks and the perfect long table we had requested. Service was the perfect balance of relaxed and friendly professionalism.
